HOUSTON ? At least two people are wanted after a fight led to a triple fatal shooting inside a Houston club late Tuesday, according to Houston police.
Police said the shooting happened around 9:43 p.m. at DD Sky Club, near I-45 and I-69, on the edge of midtown and downtown.
Police were told there was a fight inside the club, which is located on the second floor of a shopping center, and at least two people pulled out guns and opened fire, shooting into the crowd. Three people died at the scene and a fourth victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
No suspects have been arrested at this time. It's unknown if any of the people killed were possibly shooters as well, but police said no weapons were recovered at the scene.
No names have been released, but police said the three people killed were all men. KHOU 11's Anayeli Ruiz reports they were part of a group waiting to perform at open mic night, an evening when local rappers gather at the club.
A security guard told KHOU 11 they search all the men who come into the venue but not the women, and they believe the guns were sneaked in by women.
Police said there were multiple witnesses and surveillance video they hope will help with the investigation.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
