Wow, so young. I wonder if the little newborn from a 2012 pic was hers. 😢 Wonder what happened.

    Responsibility. My anti-drug.

    Especially after having kids.

And she was hella young to be a mom, but Texas is full of teen moms, and dumbasses...and no, those terms are not mutually exclusive.

Wow. I wasn't expecting that. I guess bc she had a baby.
I agree Kevin. Responsibility should be everyone's anti-drug. Well put.

I mean, there are people who get into alcohol young...but drugs like heroin? I'm just wondering if there wasn't some "inside" influence, like a family member or close friend with an addiction that perhaps contributed?

Many of Texas' suburbs are hotbeds for hardcore drug use, people here have a shit ton of money and not enough drive to do a goddamn thing. They are literally on their parents teat until they're (sometimes) into their 30s.

Not that that is the case in this death, I've just seen it a lot.

Either way, kids do stupid shit.

Now who suffers? Her child. Great. Well, hopefully this little one will be raised outside of any potentially negative influences like the ones that took the life of his mother.

And I know there are people on here who have suffered with addiction, and that my initial statement seems dismissive of a very serious subject/problem. My statements aren't meant to be directed at anyone, just my observations from a life lived without the influence of anything other than a little weed.

Then again, I was lucky enough to experience what drugs did to you when I was very young. At 15 I was able to go to the rescue squad with my dad, and on a few of the calls we had patients who had gotten high or OD'd on various substances, so it stuck with me that "bad shit is bad shit", and I stayed away both from the substance and the crowd.

She was too young to die. Too young to know that there are so many things she's going to wish she was around for. And for what?

A lot of heroin users started out with painkillers....some prescribed. Got hooked, the pills got too expensive, and heroin is cheaper.
