They were reporting yesterday that anyone who is now considered missing is believed to be dead. They have sniffer dogs searching the building for bodies but say that the intensity of the fire was so great that many people won't be found.
This morning the survivors are complaining that they've been given ?10 a day to survive on and the council are tying to put them up in high rises which is incredibly insensitive.
This whole thing is a shambles. There were protests yesterday against Theresa May and the way she's handled everything. She couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. She really needs to resign.
So the company that fitted the cladding (which apparently helped fire spread so fast said this: “We are not aware of any link between the fire and the exterior cladding to the tower.”
Which IMO is utter bullshit since a quick search shows that there were very similar fires which involved same type of cladding. Link in russian but there are photos of 5 separate large scale fires.
To be fair, if you were them you would be saying that. They must be absolutely shitting themselves. I watched that fire live on TV and the fire just went straight up the side of the building and then spread across the whole of the outside. They coated that building in kindling. The cladding that they used is illegal in other countries including the US.
