This fucking makes me angry. If you look at the GF's facebook, it is obvious that they had a long term relationship and cared about each other. It says they got engaged in July. Jade's mom is totally out of line going after this girl like this. Even if they were having problems (which I don't know that they were) HE made the decision to do this, and the GF and the baby lost a part of their life too.
I'm surprised people took so long to start broadcasting all sorts of terrible things live. I guess it's starting now though. Quick! Someone make a black mirror episode based on it.

It would it be great if Facebook would have software to recognize a firearm during live stream to shut down the live broadcast. Maybe this would deter people from killing themselves via alive and trying to grab attention..

His mom is clearly devastated and trying to place blame. Though that is no excuse for her rude comments to the girlfriend, a part of me sees she is lashing out anyway she can.

This is the second suicide that was live streamed that I've came across in 2 days. What a horrible new trend.
Why did his Mama name him Jade? I've always thought of that as being a feminine name.
His name was Jade Lee, it was a normal name for a man/boy of Asian decent. I am an ex girlfriend of his and one of his closest friends. I am also the God Mother of his son.
So sorry for your loss, skaiiniite. I hope all that knew him can move on from this. So young. RIP Jade.

A Miami teenager committed suicide, and is said to have used the Facebook Live video streaming service to broadcast it online.
The Florida Department of Children & Families confirmed that 14-year-old Nakia Venant took her life overnight Sunday by hanging herself in the bathroom of her foster parents' home.
