Hello and welcome to mydeathspace, where nothing is off limits with regard to topic and this thread just happens to be about a young (and I do mean YOUNG) lady of 24 who passed away. Nothing in this thread is found under false pretenses, nothing illegal was done to obtain the information you find herein. All of it is publicly available to anyone online - and the result is posted in this forum.

Your first impression of this forum is rather far off the mark, we're not birches, nor are we toilet shitty of shit types of people. We are, all of us, people with families, children, jobs, and lives outside of our presence here on mds.

We are doing nothing that anyone who reads about her death might do - speculating. Everyone does it, the difference here being that this is an online forum, not unlike the water cooler at your employer, or wherever the chatter/gossip takes place.

It is tragic when a life is lost, and that is made even moreso by the youthful age she was. She should have had many more years to enjoy with her family, with her daughter. We are not here to poke fun, merely to observe what we have seen of her with regard to things that have been posted online. We mean no ill will, we are merely a community of spectators.

In truth, this forum can be a good thing, and there have been many, MANY family members who have come back here to share their memories of loved ones lost. It is always an honor when families do that, and we welcome it with open arms. It is very hard to accept that our loved ones have to die, harder still when they die so very young, seemingly with so much more life yet to live.

My prayers go out to Ms. Burris' family, to her daughter. May they one day be able to come to terms with her passing.

The heroin, speedball and mixed drug deaths are overwhelming.


If the government doesn't see the rise in these deaths happening, all they have to do is read on here for a few days. Compared to a few years ago when I joined here...even I have seen a HUGE rise.

There are so many "regular folks" on Heroin at this point that MOST of the overdoses you see will have this exact M.O.

But hey, Big Pharm needs their profits and the Government will not step in. Ever notice how vigilant they are with pot (a drug that cuts in to their profits) versus Prescription drugs (what often leads to Heroin abuse). Yep. It's like that.
