Keep this in mind: they failed to repeal it because so many members of the GOP were against it for still banning insurance from refusing people with pre-existing conditions and from kicking them off their insurance after they hit a certain cost level.

The GOP opposed this because it was going to kill a lot of people, but not enough.

She literally doesn't have one, and that in itself is calculated - no official role, means no accountability, and no 'manager'. No appraisals, no one to answer to. She's literally just floating around. She won't have a salary, apparently, due to this - but obviously, she's going to benefit business wise from the insider knowledge at the very least.

I still stand by something I have thought since back in the election when dumbass kept saying Hillary had something horrible wrong with her. Every time they tried to put something off on someone else, it was because they were the ones actually doing it. I have wondered for awhile now if he has something wrong with him (like not just the insanity we know, like dementia or cancer or something) and Ivanka manages him. She shows up to random things and steps in, and it makes me wonder if she does it when he is unable to get through something. It's bullshit, but I wonder if that is it and he keeps her close to help him cover. The ethics violations are out of this world. It fucking makes me rage! Could you imagine if Obama or Hillary had done something like that?!

The thing with the healthcare bill though is like everything, it was rushed around because truly in all honesty the GOP doesn't want to lose Obamacare, they would lose a huge amount of voters if they did. They just feel obligated to shit on anything Obama did. They didn't have any better ideas except 'go back to how it was before when more people died from easily treated healthcare.' It's absurd because there are huge problems with Obamacare's obligations to insurance companies and it does need revising, just not in the stupid out to lunch direction they took it.

What the Dems need to do now is take the higher road and offer to work with the Reps to adjust ACA. This way if they refuse to work on it, it's all on them.
