i am adamantly opposed to the ignore function, so fill me in:

if you place someone on ignore, you can't see their posts, right?

can they see yours?

if they can, can they smite/rep you and you just can't see who it's from (as beantown is saying)?

i think that nice person beantown is talking about is herself coming to the conclusion that people she has on ignore are smiting her and taking them off ignore to see if they smited her. thanks self! you're so nice!

beantown, did that nice person ask you not to mention them so as not to be associated with you or was it your idea to keep that person anonymous? if so, for what reason?

who nows with that dickface? She is so back and forth it's not even funny. If you put someone on ignore you have the option to still see the post and you will totes see it if someone quotes it. I am unaware if you can't see reps/smites from ignored users.

If you have someone on ignore you will see that you were smited but won't see the actual smite unless you remove them from your ignore list.

I'll take Strmmr at her word, or you (Ani) can see for yourself by putting someone on ignore who has recently smote you or will do so shortly.

So, my guess is she pays way too much attention to her rep power and noticed it went down. I put the last person who smited me on ignore and the smite in totality was removed from my rep list.

That's what I was gonna say. Its just not worth it, esp when she then searches for a recent post of yours to smite you back. That, I think, is my very most favorite.

ETA: I was curious, so I looked to see when I lasted smited Bean. Its been over a month because my reps given list goes back to March 20th and she's not in the list. For all her "I get smites all the time" I don't see how I'm on the list for smiting her the most.
