A young DJ who works at clubs and teen dances in the Seattle area has not been seen for eight days.


Twenty-two-year-old Leon Hall, also known as DJ Blue, was last seen at Club Volume in Pioneer Square late Halloween night. He was kicked out of the club around 12:30 a.m. for being disorderly.


Hall's friends say he hasn't responded to any texts or calls since then. They say that he would never go eight days without contacting anyone, unless something was seriously wrong.


"He always has his phone with him, because that's his life, so he's usually quick to respond to anything," Hall's friend Anthony Haddad said. "I've never had to wait."


"He would tell us, Don't worry about me, I'll be back, its OK," Alex Sinclair said. "But he hasn't."


Hall's birthday was on Tuesday.


The Seattle Police Department confirmed that a report was filed last Friday by Hall's family. Detectives are actively investigating his disappearance.


Hall's friends said that he does not have enough money to suddenly take a vacation. They also said that he is addicted to Facebook. The fact that his last post was before he disappeared worries them.


"If he hurt himself, has amnesia, is he wandering where no one's looking," Sinclair said, "whatever the situation might be, I hope he's out there and perfectly safe."


Hall's friends have have put up posters with his picture all over Seattle.

i read about this when he first went missing some chick posted on his page that she went to psychic and they told her he was dead etc people were like you shouldn't be saying that on his page. i'll have to find it but i hate facebook's time line.

His phone was his life? I am pretty sure if I weren't around and my boyfriend went missing nobody would notice except me and his work. He's so bad at actually answering or using his phone. I feel like the same thing would apply to me. Of course, my work would notice me missing... it's not unusual for me to miss texts/phone calls, though.

Sad that they found him in the Bay. Have we figured out if he was shot or was just urinating?

I went to this guy's FB to see if there was an update and found this. The bold is in regards to my OP in this thread. Well, the first bold, then I went through and bolded all the posts that mentioned MDS.
I received a PM on the 21st from one of Leon's friends. I asked them if there were any updates and they said there wasn't. We exchanged a couple of PM's and that was that. I hope the friend comes back and posts about what kind of person Leon was. From the looks of his FB, it looks like he was a great person.

Zach Bennett Also, read the second reply on this forum that was following his case. He posted this just 12 hours before his body turned up. I don't think this guy is suspect, but he recognized that Leon's case fit the profile and circumstances for these killings. Also, a good number of the "smiley face murders" have occurred on Halloween. This just isn't like Leon. He wouldn't kill himself and he didn't fall off a Fucking bridge... at least from what I know of him.

Zach Bennett I was reading about it, they normally target college age students, it's suspected they drug them inside a bar or club in most cases, wait for them to leave, kidnap them, often hold them for several weeks or more before drowning the victim. Watch the video I linked to in my OP.

Zach Bennett You watched the whole video? Yeah I know, Fucking weird, right? I suggest you get the cops to use dogs to trace the scent to the point he entered the water. Looking around there and the place was found for a tagged "smiley face" would be a logical next step.

Zach Bennett Just make sure they're able to still get a sent from him they can use for the dogs. Oh, and the autopsy won't be conclusive, water does a REALLY good of erasing evidence.

Zach Bennett I was reading some people speculate the "Smiley Face Killer" doses their target on GHB before or at the club/party/whatever prior to abduction... that would explain why he got kicked out for being belligerent. I don't think that's *quite typical of Leon (though we have had some rowdy times together... lol).

Jesheckah Lynn Coffin he was never really violent. Just... overly happy haha. That's one of the weirdest things to me. I didn't really know anyone else Leon knew, I hung out with him at Bitterlake and then off and on when I was back in the states occasionally so we usually kicked it at his house or downtown etc... but he NEVER got really violent that I knew of. Nothing that would get him kicked out of a Seattle club for sure.

Taul Johnson I can't imagine that this would happen to him unless there was some sort of foul play involved. He has never done any hard drugs, and would never get the way he supposedly was that night on Molly/alcohol. He was way too smart to think walking around downtown by himself at 3am was a good idea. I hate to say it, but I hope we find whoever did this to him. And I found out that we won't have an official cause of death for 8-10 weeks. So clearly there is something more to it than simply saying, he drowned.

Megan Murphy Ah all this information is overwhelming haha. I've been in direct contact with the detective and his family. It is EXTREMELY possible that Leon fell into the water. He was beyond blacked out, could barely walk on his own and had completely forgotten he was even with anyone on Halloween night. All of this is sketchy, but lets not jump to conclusions. I'll see if I can get the detective on this. Leon was not on Molly that night, and unless you know the story of what happened after he left volume, which you probably don't...please don't make assumptions

Megan Murphy I've read everything. The reason the cause of death is going to take 8-10 weeks is because they're doing toxicology, and they won't release any specific info until everything about it is finalized. So, it doesn't necessarily mean there's something more.

Megan Murphy Just talked to the detective and he's already been following the my death space blog. He said listening to that kinda stuff is equivalent to listening to a psychic. It's irrelevant at this point, and the original posting was literally copied and pasted from the Kiro website. The people that are constantly on that blog live off of it, and can easily manipulate what they make people believe. He think exactly what Jeremy and I think, he was blacked out drunk and fell in the water. Zach Bennett Deathspace is just a forum for morbid people curious about death... and they try and play detective... its not some weird conspiracy forum from what I can tell. Of course they copied it from the news website, that's probably how they found out about it.. But that's not what's interesting. Although the comment that guy made just 12 hours before he was found was a little curious (he will be found in a body of water), it shows these people have seen stories just like this on those forums before. It's the circumstances and timing that intrigue me. The video in my original post and my subsequent research on these supposed killings that were the red flag. What does the detective say about the original video I posted? I'm also wondering why he wasn't found for three weeks... it seems like it was a high traffic area of town he showed up in, wouldn't someone/friends/family looking for him have seen him earlier? Especially if he was found near where he was last seen? Also, if you read more about these killings (I ass you watched the news report in my OP) a LARGE number of them have happened on Halloween, which is also notorious for race crimes. He also fits the profile of the majority of their targets - college age, popular, relatively well off kids. The last thing I want is to upset/disturb anyone with inappropriate questions, but I really hope this detective takes this smiley face thing seriously (no pun intended) and doesn't just get defensive about his own conclusions. I know officials can sometimes do that. Of course, I'd like to reiterate this is all speculation, and when new evidence presents itself and some for these questions are answered I'd be happy to accept the "drunken accident" scenario. I just hope this isn't shrugged of as a fallacious whim.
