Doesn't that baby in the first pic look like a newborn honey boo boo?
And yeah, 3 kids and only 20? damn. Someone can't keep their legs closed. RIP little ones.
This happened about 20 minutes from where I live. I just realized this. Carry on...
I don't get the whole getting all messed up on vicodin . I have been on it several times and it did nothing. Sometimes i would double up and take like 6 a day. Nothing. But then, i have a high tolerance to stuff. I get more messed up on my muscle relaxers.
Back in the day I used to lurrrve vicodin
Vicodin never did anything for me. I was always pissed when the Dr would give me Vicodin for pain relief.
If I'm ever in a car accident, they'll blame it on being under the influence of prescription drugs. There's a reason EVERYTHING says "do not operate heavy machinery" blah blah blah. I'm heavily medicated, and 3 of my dailies have said warning on them. I drive A LOT. I could be behind you on the highway
The fact that she was driving cautiously under the speed limit, bald tires, heavy rain, hydroplaned... yup, must've been the drugs. Look how many people DIDN'T crash and die that day.
No lol, my boyfriend was on methadone and xanax, both prescribed and in therapeutic ranges when he got into an accident because he was fucking around with his phone. He hit an SUV with his SUV and both passengers were sent to the hospital and released an hour or two later with no substantial injuries. They wanted to lynch him because of the methadone. Like he was some street corner addict or something. Anywhore, 2 long years of going to court and 3 different public defenders later (because he couldn't afford a decent lawyer) he pleaded no contest to an OWI.
Sooo, moral of the story. Don't get into an accident even on prescriptions that you're not abusing. The courts will try to throw the book at you hard.
Vicodin really only gives me a slight high, happy feeling. I could still be ok driving on it. Percocet is another story. I wouldn't be able to drive on that.
And Andrea-I agree because they even put that on meds that don't make you drowsy or impaired. Must be to cover their own ass for situations like this.
I agree with you, Fleta. But since I am not working, I try to always "time" my meds around appointments if I have to drive. We are pretty financially vulnerable at this point and someone suing me because I hit their kid because they think my meds lessened my response time... just unimaginable.
Ugh. This story is so sad and sucks so hard. They probably couldn't afford a safe vehicle big enough to haul around all the safety seats for all the kids. M-AVs are hard to come by for young parents due to the cost.
Oh, and about the weird wording of the obituary, the funeral home likely handed the family a fill-in-the-blank obit template and then the family just filled it in.
In lots of cases with older folks, for example, their given name was Letiticia but everyone called her Pearl - this is why that form probably had that line in it. In their grief rather than strike the line out, Ericka's family just filled in the blank.

I hope that when the world comes to an end, I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to. - Donnie Darko
