I read an interesting article in the Miami Herald that Zimmerman's attorney (O'Mara) was fully aware of the donations and that they were being diverted. I would venture to say O'Mara is watching out for his fees knowing that's where his paycheck is coming from. No wonder Zimmerman didn't hire Jose Baez.
This fucking cocksucker.

[quote] The man accused of killing an unarmed Florida teenager dropped plans for a second television interview after the ABC network would not provide a month of "shelter and security" for his family, his attorney said Thursday.
George Zimmerman had been in talks with ABC's show "The View" about an interview to be aired Thursday, a day after he sat down with Fox News commentator Sean Hannity. One of the show's hosts, Barbara Walters, told viewers Thursday that she had been forced to scrub the plans when Zimmerman demanded "a condition that we could not agree to." Walters would not specify the demand, but Zimmerman's lawyer, Mark O'Mara, told CNN that Zimmerman "asked for shelter and security for his wife for a month. They said they could not do that." Zimmerman had not yet agreed to sit for questions from ABC, O'Mara said, and "decided to wait on doing another interview."
But near the end of Thursday's show, Walters said Zimmerman called in and offered to talk. She refused.
"If you could not do the interview yesterday, I don't think we should do a quick one today," she said to applause from the studio audience. "If in the future you feel different, we will consider it."

A grainy black and white photo of Trayvon Martin's body and school records for George Zimmerman were among court documents that prosecutors in the controversial case said they mistakenly released Thursday. Special Prosecutor Angela Corey's office later issued a statement asking reporters to "please disregard and do not use the information contained in the initial e-mail. It was inadvertently attached."
The photo and records were among 76 documents released by Corey's office Thursday.
The state attorney's office later sent reporters a redacted version of the court documents, which did not include the Martin photo or the Zimmerman school records.
In June, Circuit Judge Kenneth R. Lester Jr. ruled that photographs of Martin's body after the February 26 shooting would not be released to the public.
Can't see anything in the photo.
I have seen the future and I'm fairly relieved to say, it looks nothing like me.
That's how it should end, but stranger things have happened.....Casey Anthony for instance. I live about 15 miles from where this shooting took place & every day our local paper has some dumb article about Zimmerman or Martin &/or their families. Zimmerman acts like a goofball, but Martin's parents don't look much better going around the country encouraging people to buy merchandise with their dead son's name on it...not to mention the sleazeball attorney they hired. It's a bizarre case, that's for sure.
I think he's gonna walk & Sanford's gonna riot...especially if Sharpton & Jackson return...ugh.
What's strange about that? There wasn't enough evidence. They didn't even have a cause of death.
And I hope there is a fucking riot. They should drag him out for some street justice.
But oh, I forgot, it's open season on niggers. I mean those iced tea and Skittles gun targets are selling like hotcakes.
so you're saying that i can shot anybody, anywhere so long as there are no witnesses and i say that i feared for my life or property?
as a woman, 'this is is relevant to my interests' (to quote ...you!).
my favorite part of that picture is the couple in the left corner having date night. ugh.
"I had no choice to strangle her. I was trying to rape her and she kicked me."
This is literally South Park's "he's coming right for us" thing. And it's not even funny.
Did you see the woman who got arrested for firing her gun at her abusive ex? Oddly enough, she was a colored woman. Yea, they didn't give her gun back and send her home. Weird, huh?
Why in the world would he call the 911 non-emergency number FIRST if his only intention was to stalk & kill some random kid?
Why didn't he shoot the other 28 times in the last couple years he called to report someone suspicious in his neighborhood?
From the time he hung up with 911 & the first cop arriving on scene was 2 1/2 MINUTES.
At that rate, Zimmerman would have had to gone into a full speed run to catch up with Martin (who at this point would have been sitting in his dad's gf's home watching the All-star NBA game...had he just gone home), drag him back closer to the defendant's car...because this all took place a lot closer to Zimmerman's car than where Martin was staying, punch himself in the nose & lay down on the ground & bang his own head against the ground, pull Martin on top of him, shoot him at point blank range...all before the cops arrived. Impossible!
Zimmerman did retreat per the 911 operator's request & was walking back to his car when Martin circled around & approached Zimmerman, punched him in the face & it escalated from there. There are multiple witnesses who say Martin was on top of Zimmerman, banging his head on the ground. Martin initiated the physical assault.
As far as no business....8 break-ins in 12 months in this small gated neighborhood. It would put everyone on guard to keep an eye out, not just the guy in charge of the neighborhood watch. This wasn't the first time Zimmerman called the police to report something odd in his neighborhood. By the time cops show up, the suspicious person/persons are gone. It's a small area...easy to get away. That's why he followed this time...to keep an eye out, so that when the cops showed up, he could show him the direction Martin ran. Because Martin was running away from Zimmerman with quite a head start.....before circling back..after Zimmerman noticed him standing in someone's front yard on a cold, rainy night.
He'll walk....if it even makes it to trial. They got a new judge on the case today.
Here's a visual...if it helps to make sense...
