REDLANDS, Calif. -- Police released surveillance footage of a shooting Saturday that claimed the life of one man while leaving two others wounded.
Redlands Police Chief Mark Garcia said he hopes the footage may lead to the arrest of the shooter.
Witnesses called 9-1-1 about 1:30 a.m. inside Charlie Jewell's, a popular bar at 1 E. State Street in Redlands' historic downtown area. Bar employees moved the men involved in the fight outside and moments later, shots rang out, said city spokesman Carl Baker.
Calimesa resident named Kruze Levusi Kuaea, 22, was shot to death. Another 22-year-old man is now in surgery at the nearby Loma Linda University Medical Center. His condition is currently unknown, Baker said.
"It was a senseless killing," said Kuaea's mother, Maricia. "He was 22-years-old. He had his whole life ahead of him."
A third man, 23, was wounded in the shooting but is expected to survive.
Baker said police are looking for a suspect described as a Latino man in his early 20s, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds. Police are looking for two other men who were with the shooter at the Friday night and early Saturday morning.
"Any information about the suspects would be greatly appreciated by us and the family," said Redlands Lt. Shawn Ryan.
Anyone with additional information is asked to call detective Rob Williams at 909-798-7688 or Redlands police dispatch at 909-798-7681.

Its too dangerous these days to fight because no one fights with their fists anymore.
Now its also dangerous to stand and watch a fight.
This area is not a bad area at all, its actually really nice with no problems. I go bar hopping here and have never seen violence.
