I am surprised we don't have a thread on this. I am about to leave work so will make this quick and pad it out later. Basically three women went missing from Springfield, Missouri in 1992 and have never been found.

Someone has been posting 'clues' on reddit today and people are thinking they related to this case -

No, it doesn't resemble any of the victims. The screenshot looks like a man to me. The person who posted the youtube vid and who is posting on reddit has some good creeper skills... I'll give them that.

After what appears to be someone's face that has been severely beaten, there will be some distortion, swelling, bruising, etc. To me the face has feminine characteristics. The shape of the brows and the skin looks smoother than what a male's would. I realize this pic is blurred somewhat but still distinguishable. I hope this gives the authorities some new leads.

This is one case I've always wanted to see solved. One rumor is they're in the concrete of Cox hospital. I believe they used something to scan the concrete and found three anomalies but have said it would be too expensive to tear into it and Cox is huge now and has had big add ons.

Per information stated in a later podcast on The Vanished about Larry Dewayne Hall, a prolific serial killer in the Indiana area (who happened to go to Civil War reenactments in many states, there was a possible confession by him to Chris Martin, a man who wrote a book about DeWayne, and who has regular contact with him from his jail:

DeWayne supposedly mentioned taking "three from Springfield" and leaving them in the Mark Twain woods, but no evidence has ever been found to corroborate this.

I have to admit, I never heard about this case until I listened to this story the other day.

Video is crazy! I remember this case from AMW and 48hrs or Dateline. He is certainly having a good time with the people on reddit. I wonder if he realizes they are the type that can and will decode his clues. lol I love that they have the patience to go through that video frame by frame.

I think this poster is just messing with silly codes to have fun online. I doubt that the real culprit is now into putting codes up on online forums for kicks, though I could be wrong. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Tonight I outed James and Guiboche as the Puppet Masters for this ARG. They hosted a really cool TOR chat, but I ended up piecing together their identities due to a few factors.
