Hi All...newbie here however I have lurked and read forever. I so enjoy everyones posts. I do have a question if someone can help me with this it will be greatly appreciated. When I signed in it said I was registered but I did not see anywhere to put in my activation code. That would not bother me but it appears that I can not get in certain threads.. For example.. I wanted to read what evryone had thought about Joshua Young's NG verdict. I know there is a thread somewhere here because I have read the 3 pages that were here during the trial. So I tried to do a search for this and that was when I got the message that I did not have privilages to that thread. Could someone direct me to what I should do....TYIA for all help given!!!sweets

I know this person is long gone. But this makes me wonder, is there a place that tells new members that their first 10 posts are under moderation? They always seem to question why their posts aren't showing up. But I'm thinking surely when people join there is somewhere that says that. Maybe it should be in big red letters or something?

Hi, my name is actually Brian. I got deeply involved in family history research about 3 1/2 years ago and, of course, death goes hand in hand with tracing family trees and also with digging into the historical aspects of genealogy. My sister thinks I am a grade A weirdo but I find a cemetery to be about the most peaceful place that can be found. Each and every stone has a story behind it too. There are not many subjects connected therewith that I could honestly say don't interest me at all.

I think it's only the first couple of posts that get delayed by moderation. Maybe someone was scared by TD's avi and was waiting on a second opinion. LOL
It take 10 posts before you can see if you have any reps, 50 before they actually show up in your posts.
