uggh. dry clean only. fuck that noise.

are you looking for like, a bed in a bag with sheets or to update the room with just a quilt/duvet + shams?

I didn't see the dry clean only. dammit.

I think a bed in a bag. The sheets I have right now are purple and the set is purple gray and cream. I don't want purple anymore.

The mint green is pretty. I think that would coordinate well with your grey walls.

I like white bedding, and I'm cheap. I buy my bedding sets at Target and they seem to last forever (and I can wash them at home ). I like this set from BB&B. Our guest bedroom is grey with a black framed bed. I have an all white bedding set with a light blue throw blanket folded and kind-of thrown half-assed over the bed and I get a lot of compliments on it. It's a really clean, comfy look.

PS: I love your bed frame!

What about something like this? Or is that a million colors?

    http://www.sears.com/colormate-compl...&blockType=G36

And I'm with Mama. I can't remember ever buying sheets from anywhere but Target.

I have seen the future and I'm fairly relieved to say, it looks nothing like me.

Oh, yeah. I didn't think about that. My white stuff is in an extra bedroom that no one ever uses. That's probably the only reason I even own a white bedding set. Do you like damask patterns? I think a black and white combo (a lot more black than white) would look good. I like colors too, but I don't really know your taste. Sienna, faded burgundy, sea foam, etc. would all look good with greys.

This is the set I have now:

But with these sheets because I don't like the sheets it came with's texture:

Is this the kind of damask you mean?

That's gorgeous, but it doesn't have euro shams. I bought those stupid pillows, they're staying on the bed! haha

I also really like this but is it too much, all one color like that?

Also, Cat and McMama, I loooove Target (all my spare sheets are from there, and my old comforter was before my cat got sick on it and ruined it), but I can't go into a Target. I lose my mind and spend like 500 dollars and don't get what I originally went for. lol

LOL Ang - I have those damn Euro pillows, too. It was so hard to find bedding that I liked that had those that I just bought some plain shams that went with our bedding. The MOAR pillows the better!

i like both sets that you posted. i don't think the sage one is too much of one color. i think there's something to be said for simplicity. also, whenever i buy comforters, i always buy a bigger size. like a king for a queen bed. i like to make sure there's enough blanket to go around. hahaha.

We finally got around to getting our outdoor setting. It was $1200 in the shops. Found the exact same one online for less than half the price.

This is the same style except we got Charcoal/Black wicker instead of brown.

We have this old bed set. My husband's great grandparents owned it, then it passed to the grandparents, then when they died, it came to my husband. It also came with about 50 coats of stain on it. It's been in our basement for years.

After we knew our oldest was moving out, the 15 yr old wanted her bedroom. She asked me if she could do something to the bed frame and "have it". I told her ok.

I guess she used pinterest a lot. She had some black chalkboard paint. She painted that whole headboard set solid black. If she would have told me before hand that's what she was going to do, I would have said no.

BUT OMG, it turned out beautiful! It doesn't even look like the same headboard set anymore.

Home remodel starts tomorrow. Been waiting for this for a long time. After 6 months of getting quotes and almost 3 months of confirming plans, picking materials, etc. tomorrow is finally the day! I'm sitting here at home in an empty room, on the floor, with my iPad. We had to clear the whole house with exception of 2 rooms to prep for tomorrow. It's been a long past few days getting here.

We were told about 4 months from start to completion, which means it'll probably be 6-7 months. Regardless, I'm super stoked to finally get this project going! Bring on the stress, patience, and even more stress and patience with my bf as we get thru this.
