I had to stop watching, too heartbreaking.

A Psychiatrist I know said the telehealth thing was bullshit. They needed to see her in person, see her demeanor, mannerisms, etc.

He said individuals with Psychosis usually mostly have delusions, but can act normal. Especially with PPD and PPP they believe upsetting/false things to be true. They just "know" they are right.

He gave me an example of Andreas Lubitz, the German pilot that crashed a plane into the French Alps on purpose. It started with him thinking he was going blind. He went to several doctors, and they all said his eyesite was fine. He was then sent to a Psychiatrist , who said he was unfit to fly, and prescribed medication. He hid his mental illness from his employers. His delusion that he would go blind, and not be able to fly, caused him to research suicide options, eventually locking the pilot out mid flight, and crashing the plane.

I wonder if we have a thread?

Basically, they can seem fine. They just lack self awareness. Thier delusions and sometimes visual/audio hallucinations slowly eat them alive, it consumes them and rules thier life.

I cant imagine a more awful existence.

Seroquel is a weak sauce anti psychotic. She needed to be on something stronger.

Also why the fuck were they upping her meds after a few day, when some take a week or more to start to work?

Yeah my algorithm is totally locked onto this and I gotta admit it gets to me sometimes when my videos go into conspiracy mode at night.

I’ll list some reasons people are stating. Y’all can take it however you want. This is all just internet sleuths and whatnot.

People have dug up reviews he left on a hiking location like 18 days after the kids died.

They seem to be making a big deal about him looking up suicide. But he was looking it up at the same time a musician had committed suicide and was searching about that so idk why people think this is a smoking gun.

He was shown in different clothes/shoes on security cameras the day of the murders. Apparently changed clothes while running the errands while she was committing the murders.

Something about him claiming he couldn’t connect to WiFi to call 911 but you don’t need WiFi for that. Not sure the details on that.

One girl did a video saying his phone call that evening with Lindsay was supposedly him asking if generic laxative was okay for the kid cause that’s all they had but she had crime scene photos showing the name brand in a cvs bag on the counter he supposedly brought home.

Patrick claims when he found Lindsay she stated she tried to kill herself and the kids were in the basement but the paramedics and people on scene claim she was non verbal. And remained non verbal for several days. I’ve read she had damage to her throat, I haven’t fully researched all of her injuries though.

He remarried quickly. Many believe an affair was going on.

Many are questioning how her internal temp dropped so fast. But I’ve also read she landed on ice so? People question how she laid so long to become hyperthermic yet one of the children were freshly enough injured they were able to resuscitate.

People are questioning why the bed was pushed to the window when she could have jumped out of the window without the bed.

These are just a few I’ve seen.

    Thank you OCN!

People are getting confused about the remarriage timeline. They are saying he got married 2 months after the murders. The murders happened in 2023 and he got married in 2026.

BUT he did move to Manhattan with his girlfriend about 4 months after the murders. If he wanted to start over, theres the motive.

The suicide attempt is what gets me. Woman dont usually jump out of windows. She was completely delirious after the fall. I dont think she remembers what happened. She could have been pushed.

The problem is she confessed multiple times.

Ehhh, I feel like there has been plenty of times I have seen women jump to their death.

That's all I got - I haven't really followed this story much lol.

Lindsay Clancy's mother, Paula Musgrove, testified that her daughter was anxious, fearful of being alone, and expressed thoughts of harming her children before the murders, supporting the defense's claim of postpartum depression and psychosis.

Musgrove said she noticed her daughter become very anxious in October 2022 and sent a text on Oct. 20, 2022, asking her mother to stay because she felt sick and scared to be alone.

"Mom, will you please come up and stay with me for a bit? I'm really sick. Something is wrong. I had horrible insomnia all night and I just don't know how I'm going to get through the day. I started taking the medicine my doctor prescribed for anxiety and I think it's made things worse," the text read. "It's just really scary and I don't want to be alone."

Musgrove traveled from her home in Connecticut to Clancy's in Duxbury the same day and stayed for a week, she said.
Around the holidays, Musgrove testified that she frequently visited and stayed with her daughter, who she described as "not getting better."

"She was afraid to be alone and she actually asked if she could sleep with me" one night in late November or early December, Musgrove said.

Musgrove testified that around Christmastime and into January, her daughter had lost weight, become paranoid and said she felt her mind was not her own.

Musgrove described one scene from December 2022 in which Lindsay, whom she said appeared "nervous," told her and Patrick she had distressing thoughts. "She told us she had thoughts of harming the children," she testified.

I don't necessarily think that the Husband committed the murders or was directly involved in that way, but he sure had a hand in not trying to solve the issues with her that could have prevented it. He's also a bit of a dick to run off with a girlfriend just 4 months after his kids were killed.

Women's health is deplorable. I do not understand why people claim it was her husband, but I agree that he did not help matters. Getting involved in a relationship and married so soon after says a great deal about who he really is.

Yeah it sounds like she did absolutely everything you’re supposed to do when you need help. She reached out, she sought medical care/meds, she kept a journal. She did it all by the book.

I remember in my early 20s having horrible anxiety and having to go through different meds. It’s a nightmare when you’re put on something that makes it worse.

It’s really shocking how locked in to mom mode she was all the way up to the murders. She was worried about getting the laxatives for the child. It’s crazy to think you can be worried about relieving your child’s constipation to going into psychosis and killing them in such a short time period. It speaks volumes to me that no one has said she was a bad mom and everyone has praised her as a mother up until the incident.

Idk what to think of all the Patrick did it theories but I do think if this trial was determining whether she did it or not, there would be enough reasonable doubt to sway some people into thinking she didn’t do it.

I think at the very least, he wasn’t a very involved father.

I’m glad at the end of the day, this trial is at least opening the conversation up more about post partum issues.

I am so sick of the stigma around PPD. It is heartbreaking, scary, and serious.

I saw some person on YouTube comments write,"She had a nanny, and she didnt even work and was complaining about not sleeping and anxiety. I worked and didnt have help (which was obviously a lie because who watched her child while she worked?) and I was a single mother and I pulled it off"

That made me RAGE. Its not a "babie blues" phase, a sign of weakness, a temporary problem, a sign of failure.

Women knocking other women down is disgusting. Shes not less than because she needed help.

Its 5 minutes after your husband leaves you have a panic attack, and beg him to come back home. You have this sinking feeling, you know in your gut, that you will never be happy again. You cannot care for a child. You are drowning and you cant get your head above water.
And a therapist says "you can do this, you arent the first person to go through this, just give it time, you will get better" then you feel more guilt about not getting better.

Where the fuck was her husband? That she had to sleep with her mom because she didnt want to sleep alone? When your wife is suffering and your children are in danger, you take time off. You take a leave of absence, use vacation time, SOMETHING.

Lindsay Clancy was "begging for help" in the months leading up to killing her three children and attempting to end her own life, Clancy's former mother-in-law testified for the defense Tuesday in the fourth week of her murder trial.

"Lindsay was struggling — we were all concerned," said Susan Clancy, mother of Patrick Clancy.
Susan Clancy, who, like Lindsay, worked as a labor and delivery nurse, said in Plymouth Superior Court that she and her former daughter-in-law were close and described Lindsay as a "wonderful mother" who was "very nurturing, very loving."

Her testimony echoed emotional accounts the day before from Lindsay Clancy's mother and sister, who recounted for jurors how they saw her become increasingly anxious, paranoid and suicidal starting in the fall of 2022.

A new development has landed during Lindsay Clancy's court proceedings.

The 36-year-old's trial—in which she faces three counts of first-degree murder after admitting to killing her kids Cora, 5, Dawson, 3 and Callan, 8 months, in 2023—has encountered an unexpected delay when Judge William Sullivan suddenly excused the jury for the day on Aug. 19.

"This is not something we saw coming, but you're not to speculate about what it is," Sullivan instructed the 18 jurors in court, per ABC News. "You're not to hold it against either side. It's just something that we have to deal with."

Though Sullivan didn't detail the incident further, he did describe it as the result of an "unforeseen circumstance."

E! News has reached out to Plymouth Superior Court for comment but has not heard back.

In recent days, Lindsay’s trial has evaluated records of her digital footprint leading up to the deaths of her children, including text exchanges with her now-ex-husband Patrick Clancy in their final hours before the incident.

Defense attorney, Kevin Reddington called one witness Thursday - Sheila Cavanaugh, a chaplain at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

She said she met Lindsay Clancy at the hospital on Jan. 25, 2023; however, she said the defendant could not speak at the time.

Cavanaugh said she remembered "vividly" the first thing Lindsay Clancy was able to say to her after the breathing tubes were removed.

"She said to me, as I held her hand to comfort her, 'I am so glad my children are safe,'" Cavanaugh said. "I replied theologically to Lindsay, and I said, 'Lindsay, your children are safe. They are safe in heaven with God.'"
Cavanaugh said Lindsay Clancy told her that she heard a persistent male voice.

"She alluded to having heard a voice. And the voice, according to Lindsay, told her that if she did not follow the command, neither she nor her children would be safe," Cavanaugh said.

Cavanaugh said conversations about "the voice" came up several times during the course of about 14 visits while she was hospitalized at the Brigham.
On cross-examination, the prosecutor brought up Cavanaugh’s detailed notes about her meetings with Lindsay Clancy.

"You wrote very detailed notes," prosecutor Shanan Buckingham said.

    "Yes, I did," Cavanaugh said.

"And you never once wrote about the voice, correct?" Shanan Buckingham said.

    "Correct," Cavanaugh said.

There is supposed to be a really good Forensic Psychiatrist on today. Im trying to watch it on You Tube but I just see the state thingy.

Oh apparently it was pn Zoom because he just had surgery and he was frail and weak looking. The audio went in and out.

    God dammit.
