The jury has been seated as of tonight.Lindsay Clancy’s former husband is asking the judge to block public access to sensitive evidence that’s expected to be unveiled as her triple murder trial gets underway.
Patrick Clancy, who has since remarried, filed a motion earlier this week asking Plymouth Superior Court Judge William Sullivan to bar the public, including the media, from seeing and sharing certain evidence pertaining to the deaths of his three children.
Specifically, Patrick is asking Sullivan to prevent the public from listening to the 911 call he made immediately after he found his children unresponsive in the basement of their Summer Street home back in January 2023.
Patrick also wants to prohibit the public from seeing and sharing photographs of his three children, including images taken before their deaths, at the crime scene and during their autopsies, throughout the trial.

Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial began Monday with her ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, taking the witness stand.
Patrick described the status of Clancy’s mental and physical well being after the birth of each child. He said that she had anxiety when it was time for her to return to work at the end of her maternity leave.
After their youngest child was born, Patrick said Lindsay did not go back to work. “There were days when she had all three kids, different nap schedules, different needs. It was just really stressful,” he testified.

By Thanksgiving 2022, Patrick said Clancy was “in rough shape, not talking much, low energy, really depressed.”
After his wife switched to a new medication in December 2022, Patrick said that “was really where her big spiral started.” He said Clancy “started to lose a lot of weight, she became really depressed and was having a hard time. She started to say she was suicidal.”
That month, Patrick testified that Clancy also told him that she was having intrusive thoughts about harming their children. He said when he asked her if she felt she needed to be kept away from the children, Clancy said she did not.
“It was very confusing because the next minute she was making them lunch or putting them to bed,” Patrick testified. “I never saw Lindsay harm the kids.”
I cant watch this trial. She told the husband she was having intrusive thoughts. She should have have been inpatient. She only stayed 4 days.
The meds she was given were standard PPD medicines, but Im not sure about PPP.
Also she was not taking all of her meds.
The Seroquel is the most important one, if that wasnt working, she needed to be placed on another anti-psychotic med.
I dont know how she was able to move with all of the "downers".
I dont know what to make of the detailed journals she was writing.

The Lindsay Clancy trial resumed in Plymouth Superior Court on Monday.
Prosecutor Shanan Buckingham read aloud from Lindsay Clancy's diary, which police seized with a search warrant. Clancy wrote that she was obsessed with her infant son's sleep schedule.
"Hearing him cry for one-plus hours and not intervening just about killed me. I even said the words 'I want to die' to Pat while he was crying," Clancy wrote.Clancy also said she was "completely overwhelmed" trying to take care of her three kids. "I feel like I'm drowning every day," she wrote.
In an entry dated Nov. 18, 2022, Clancy wrote, "It's like I'm so desperate to get a mental break from taking care of everyone that my mind is trying to make something physically wrong with me."
"I now have horrible insomnia and anxiety which is causing depression," Clancy wrote. "I have no appetite, I don't know what's wrong with me. I want help. How would that help the Prosecution AT ALL? COMPLETE AND UTTER symptoms of PPD written by her.

3 Not eating
4 Terrible guilt
5 not connecting with baby
6 feeling like you are drowning and will never get your head above water
It just goes to show how ignorant the prosecution really is. PPD can co-occer with PPP.
BUT I did see her defense was that she was given too many drugs that she had a reaction to. I dont think thats a smart move, they found she wasnt taking her meds consistently. The Seroquel I think was the most important one she needed to take.

Lindsay Clancy’s former nanny took the stand at her former employer’s closely watched murder trial.
Elaine Rossi worked for the Clancy family from September to December 2022 and helped take care of the three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and 8-month-old Callan.

The husband said she would fill a script, then they would change her dose, so he was told to "hold on to the old bottle" and she got a new one. Ive never heard of that in my life.
Then the prosecution is saying that only 7 out of 30 pills were taken, so she wasnt taking her meds.
Also I noticed the prosecution bitch was wearing a little kids bow. I guess she did it as a reminder of a dead child. Thats just wrong. This is a seperate trial.
I found this about PPP psychosis "Early warning signs include severe insomnia (she had) Severe anxiety and irritability (she had) rapid mood fluctuations"
That is a precursor to the psychosis. Also being Bipolar (which she is) puts her at a higher risk.

The attorney for a woman charged with murdering her three young children grilled the defendant’s psychiatrist Monday, questioning her experience and arguing she failed to treat her patient appropriately.
Dr. Jennifer Tufts, returned to the witness stand to face cross-examination; on Friday, she told the jury that the defendant had been anxious and expressed some signs of depression, but did not present a risk to herself or others.
She denied seeing any signs of psychosis in Clancy during any of their appointments.When pressed by Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, on Monday, Tufts admitted that she had never actually met Clancy in person. Every one of their appointments had been conducted via telehealth.
While there was a video feed for the appointment, Tufts conceded that she could not see her patient’s hands or legs to detect any further symptoms. “I couldn’t see her legs, but I knew she was under stress,” she said.

“I do not believe that I have been negligent,” Tufts said, noting that she referred to perinatal psychology as an “interest” and denied calling herself an expert in the field.

Her testimony was ridiculous. The defense asked her why the website for her practice lists perinatal psychiatry as one of her areas of expertise. She said that it is an interest of hers, but she is not a specialist in it. Well, one quick look at her profile on the practice website will show you that she listed perinatal psychiatry as an area of expertise.
