RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two missing and endangered teenagers with autism.

Investigators say that 18-year-old Eric Hisle and 18-year-old Talon Laccone were tubing on the Deep River from Coleridge to Bennett Road. They were dropped off on NC 22/NC 42 near River Heights Drive.

The two teens were supposed to be picked up at the Bennett Road bridge; however, the pair never made it to the pickup location, according to the sheriff’s office.

They were found safe.

Eric Hisle, 18, and Talon Laccone, 18, were reported missing Sunday.

The Randolph County Sheriff's Office says the two men have been found safe.

Around 8:00 a.m. both of the men were found on Antioch Church Road after walking to nearby residence. They said one of their inner tubes popped while they were on the river, which forced them to stop tubing.

The two teens spent the night in the woods, sleeping on rocks before walking to a residence this morning for help. They seem to be in good health.
