If/when I do spray Roundup it is once or twice a year and I wear gloves. I am not sure if that cancer stuff is true or not. They are still selling it

It's absolutely true. Are you a conspiracy theorist? It's been proven pretty well.

You all should be using a lawn service, as they will get it right the first time. We used to buy all sorts of treatments and do it ourselves. However, the weeds just kept coming back. Now we have a service (they come several times a year) that handles everything for us. We actually have been told we have the best yard in our neighborhood because our grass is so green and healthy whereas our neighbors' are struggling with ragweed, etc.

My husband refuses (as of now) to pay anyone to do the yard - it is like "his" thing lol. It wasn't until about 8 years ago I caved and hired someone to clean the inside, because it just got to be too much and too exhausting. Plus, my OCD wants it to be cleaner than I could physically do myself - I will leave that to the professionals! I only have someone come once a month and do the deep clean, then I just have to do the upkeep until she comes back in a month. I don't mind cleaning, I vacuum and stuff every day. Just getting on my hands and knees and scrubbing baseboards and showers....nope.

I am lucky in that my husband does all the cleaning. We used to hire people, but had issues with theft (even though we were in the house working while they were cleaning). Plus, I just don't like random people seeing our mess.

I got really lucky. The first housecleaner I got, was a friend of my husband's sister. She was an annoying republican mormon, but she never stole from me. The new lady, I must have really lucked out. She has been cleaning my house the last 4 or 5 years, I think. She is very honest - one time she knocked something over when cleaning and cracked it. She could have put it back and played dumb, but she made sure to reach out to me and tell me, then offer to pay for it. I very much trust her, and she always cleans when my husband and I are at work so we are never home when she is there. She has a key and everything.

Although, she doesn't have the code to the deadbolt, so I just make sure to leave that one unlocked before I leave for work when she is coming. Once that is locked, even with a key that opens all other locks, she can't get in the house (just to be safe!).

That is why I wear gloves and take a shower right after. But like I said I am only using it twice a year maybe. If it really does cause cancer how could it still be sold in stores?

I do use a lawn service. I am spraying Roundup on the concrete lines in the driveway, sidewalk, and near the house where weeds sneak in sometimes. Lawn service does not mess with concrete area. Grass itself does not get weeds as much once lawn service starts up for the season

As someone with a mother and brother who died from a cancer that is often caused by Roundup, lets just say I have a fairly significant background on Roundup and its evils.

So you think something that causes cancer can't be sold in stores? How do you feel about cigarettes?

I keep trying to hide the Round Up. The Mr likes to use it and I refuse. We do it ourselves and I really enjoy being in charge of the lawn/flowers. He'd be happy with nothing at all for decoration.

Does Roundup have a warning on the label like Cigarettes do? If not then it needs it. If these lawsuits prove that Roundup caused cancer in a lot of people they would probably pull it from the shelves at major places like Home Depot and Lowes till the formula gets changed.

    Per Google:

Roundup products contain standard precautionary warning labels regarding eye irritation and required safety gear (gloves/shoes) as approved by the EPA, but they do not carry cancer warning labels.
How they have gotten away with not having a cancer warning label is beyond me.

my eye dr gave me lubricating drops. cool beans. I have to use them at night. again cool beans even though I'm weird about putting stuff in my eyes. I prefer seeing over not seeing so I'm doing it. put them in and woke up unable to open my eyes. my eye lashes were super glued together. WTF, a warning might've been good, I freaked out because I couldn't see at all.

I feel like with medicine it's pick the devil you want to deal with vs the one you don't. Nothing ever really gets fully better, it just gets mildly better and gives you some other new issue. We should have sprung for that extended warranty I guess.

Did it help, at least? After you got them open...

That happens to me when I get pink eye. It fucking sucks.

So my mom gave me this Lancome sampler kit. I absolutely loved the tester spray. My husband was thoughtful and bought me a bigger bottle on Amazon. This smells like absolute shit. Nothing like the tester at all. Idk what to do.

I'm not sure these drops are lubricating anything but I want my vision back so I'm still using them. I no longer panic when my eyes feel glued in the morning so that's progress I think!

I have to put them in right before bed and by the time I wake up my lashes are bonding w/ each other. THe first morning was scary. I'm handling it better.

I'd be writing a nasty e-mail because even if nothing happens you still feel better for speaking up for yourself.

Can you send it back to the seller? Sometimes name brand items bought on Amazon are not legit.

I guess that is indeed progress!

I use Blink tears, which really help my dry eyes.

This was my thought, that's it's a knockoff.

Exactly. One would hope Amazon would screen third party sellers better.
