A French professional model recruiter who for over a decade arranged for the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to meet multiple models, was found dead at his home near Paris on Monday.
Daniel Siad’s body was found in his house in Colombes, a suburb of the French capital, Marie-Céline Lawrysz, deputy public prosecutor at the Nanterre Judicial Court, told CNN in a Wednesday statement.
An autopsy will be performed on the body to determine the cause of death.
CNN’S Katie Polglase recently interviewed Siad, who said he had no reason to believe two women he had recommended to Epstein – and who had told CNN that Epstein had abused them – had been harmed by him.
Even after Epstein’s 2008 conviction on sex crimes, modeling industry insiders like Siad continued seeking business ventures with him, invited him to fashion events, and allowed him to associate with their companies.So far, 24 women have come forward or have been identified following a review of information and a call for victims by prosecutors. At least 16 women have been interviewed by investigators and additional interviews are due to take place.
But the prosecutors office said they still had not obtained enough evidence to arrest Siad.
“Daniel Siad was the subject of special investigative techniques, including telephone intercepts, although to date these have not produced evidence justifying his immediate arrest,” the office said.

Isn't he the one that is connected to the missing woman in Europe? I know that's not much help, but I can't think of her name. It was in the news earlier this summer. She has been missing for a long time.

Maybe because they consider her a sexual assault victim and it's Europe? I really don't know. Her family has been interviewed a lot. I am sure people know who she is so why not put it out there?

A Jeffrey Epstein-linked French modeling scout who was discovered dead at his home last month was quietly operating an anonymous online account devoted to praising President Donald Trump, according to two researchers who say they traced the account back to him — a finding they called "unbelievable."
“I know that sounds unbelievable. So let’s walk through it,” reads a report published Saturday co-authored by Princeton University associate professor Katie Chenoweth and writer Bekah Day.
Daniel Siad worked for MC2 Model Management, an international modeling agency that operated out of New York, Florida and Tel Aviv, Israel, that was founded by Jean-Luc Brunel, a French model scout who launched the agency with considerable financial backing from Epstein. Brunel was later accused of being involved in sex trafficking in association with Epstein, and died by apparent suicide while awaiting sex-trafficking charges in 2022.
Siad's name appears well over 1,000 times in the Justice Department's release of Epstein-related files, and in June he sweat through his shirt when pressed on his Epstein ties in an interview with CNN. He was under investigation in France over accusations of rape and human trafficking, all of which he denied. Siad was never formally charged, as prosecutors said they had not gathered enough evidence to arrest him. His lawyer said he died an innocent man. He was found dead at his home near Paris on July 20, with an autopsy pending.
As to the link between Trump and Siad, Chenoweth and Day managed to stumble across archived online posts from a now-deleted X account with the username “Thiley,” one they described as a “Donald Trump fan account.”
“Before his death, Daniel Siad was operating a X/Twitter account called ‘Thiley.’ On multiple occasions, Daniel Siad posted videos showing his face, including one uploaded in February 2026 – just months before his CNN interview,” reads the report.
“In that video, he discussed his role in Jeffrey Epstein’s operation, portraying himself as someone who had also been victimized rather than as the real perpetrator he was. The themes closely mirrored what he would later tell CNN, although the February 2026 video presents an even more favorable version of events.”
Chenoweth and Day uncovered multiple posts from the account praising Trump that had been archived on the Wayback Machine – an online digital archive that has been used in court proceedings as evidence – including posts calling Trump “the best President ever” and “our saviour.”
