    GoFundMe Drug OD endless cycle

When I see these confirmed drug OD deaths there almost always was a GoFundMe right after the death. Seems to be the same cycle, person dies of OD then people being asked to pay for their carelessness through a GoFundMe which shows the names of who is donating and how much.

People posting on social media "donate what you can they need our help"

How is it anyone else's responsibility to pay for this especially when people have their own bills and own problems.

I have seen families with multiple, confirmed drug OD deaths and they just create a GoFundMe asking for money. Then 2 years later when the next family member dies of a drug OD they create another GoFundMe, and on and on.

People stopped taking responsibility for themselves and their family. No one seems to buy insurance anymore. GFM is their answer to everything.

Eh....I don't think those who have lost loved ones to OD's should get less sympathy - death in itself is tragic, even OD's - no one deserves that, and the family doesn't either. If you don't want to donate, then just don't donate.

The only exception is someone who murders other people and then offs themself. Then you can go fuck yourself for creating a gofundme for a murderer.
