Documentaries worth watching

Now Im watching the doc about the Parkland shootings, its really good, the have a diagram to show who was where and people talking about what happened step by step.

Whats weird is they had a fire drill that day, and were told they were on Code Red which meant threat. So they all thought it was a drill.

Does anyone else have the amazon prime button on your remote and when you log in, it has all your streaming services? When I am in my prime, it shows everything available for all the streaming services i have, which is why it's hard for me to remember when I watched something, which service it was on...

The only one it doesn't show is Hulu.

Prime. It has a ton of docs.

Interestingly, I remember when my dad was talking about a horrible bus crash. When I got older, I asked him what the other ME's had said about it, and he said they were finding ears in and around the bus. It was terrible.

I saw a doc called "Impact" and sure enough, it was about the same accident.

ETA He wasnt working as a ME anymore, just kept in touch with them.

To be far, a lot of those episodes are based loosely on real life events. I assumed that was the case with that episode.

I am watching Kids locked up: life or parole (I know its old af) but I thought it would be about kids (its been all teenagers) that were not the shooter or got a long punishment for no reason. NOPE. These kids are fucking monsters.

This one psychopath shot his step moms face off and killed his 3 brothers. He put the shot gun in his 10 year old brothers mouth and pulled the trigger. WHY WOULD THEY CONSIDER HIM FOR PAROLE?

These Psychologists are saying their brains are "warped" from childhood trauma. But its ok now, because jail fixed their brain. Give me a fucking break.

These "kids" are just going to kill again.

I personally think the notion that anyone gets 'fixed' in prison is a farce. They just learn better ways to commit crime and not get caught while in prison.

I have been watching The 9/11 Project. It's a huge repository of info and video, put together so that each hour long video only covers the different things that were all happening that day in just a few minutes snapshots. They are only up to #4 but there are 20 planned in all.

If you're interested in the subject, then yes. It can get a bit repetitive, so the average viewer might not like it but I like seeing the different perspectives of things.

There's a good one on PBS Chicago Stories. A few of those places where the poison was are close to my home but the actual stores are gone like the one in Winfield IL.
