Trentin Isaac (16) found dead under suspicious circumstances after going missing on 11/12/2024 in Ohio

A 16-year-old boy who has been missing from Mansfield since last week was found dead Tuesday in eastern Ohio, according to police.

The Mansfield Department of Police said Trentin Isaac had been missing since Nov. 12. Authorities confirmed Tuesday that his body was found in Harrison County.

Police said that authorities in Harrison County contacted them about a body found in their jurisdiction.

His body was taken to the Cuyahoga County coroner’s office due to "suspicious circumstances,” police said in their statement, without specifying further details.

Police also addressed claims about social media posts and videos, allegedly in connection with Trentin's disappearance, that have been brought to investigators’ attention.

Police said in their statement that investigators have been contacted with “numerous unverified tips and rumors concerning videos and social media posts," but have not seen any actual evidence to that effect.

Police did not comment on any possible suspects or persons of interest but indicated there may be multiple people involved.

Authorities are urging anyone with information, including potential videos, photographs, or social media content related to Isaac’s disappearance, to “come forward immediately.”

Sixteen-year-old Trentin Isaac was found dead after going missing back in November of 2024.

His mother, Amanda Craft, and other family members are holding the Uniting For Justice Rally on Saturday.

They’re hoping the rally Saturday afternoon will help bring awareness not only to Trentin’s case but to others in their community.

According to Trentin’s family, he was heading to the Woodland Hill Mobile Home Community to see friends in November. About a week later his body was found 100 miles away.

Michelle told 19 News Trentin’s body was burned so badly his family says they never got to see him.

“They identified him by his thumb print because his hand was clenched so tight,” said Isaac.

19 News went by Mansfield Police to see how close detectives are to finding the person or people who killed Trentin. We were told there were no updates to report.

A grieving mother is speaking out as she continues to search for justice in the death of her 16-year-old son, who went missing last fall and was later found dead more than 80 miles from home.

Trentin Isaac was last seen on November 12. According to his mother, Amanda Craft, he never returned to his friend’s house that night.

The following day, he missed a scheduled probation meeting. Just days later, his body was discovered in Harrison County under what Mansfield police called “suspicious circumstances.”

“He was murdered,” Craft said. “I’m not sure what they did to him, but his body was found burned.”

Mansfield Police Chief Jason Bammann said by phone there were no new updates to provide. He did, however, acknowledge this was a uniquely complex case because it involves multiple agencies across two counties.

"They've known who's done it for months," said Craft. "I don't understand why there's no sense of urgency."

“Even at eight months, I don't have a family advocate," said Craft. "I won't get a family advocate until charges are filed, so like there's nobody that kind of steps you through this process."

“I just wish our system would have more support for grieving parents” she said.

So they know who did it. They must be trying to gather enough evidence to nail him. I know that it's torture seeing the person walking around free and clear, but if they arrest them without enough evidence, they'll just walk.

I hate to stereotype, but it mentions that he was due for a probation meeting. At 16 years of age, I can only gather that drugs may be involved in this.

I hope that is the case and they get enough evidence soon to arrest who was responsible. It sounds like he led a rough life and/or hung around the wrong crowd.

Or him and some "friends" did something stupid like break into a car or house. Maybe they thought he was going to talk and get them in trouble, so they killed him?
