    Let Me See Your Feet...

Just kidding, seriously. I think feet are mostly gross. But now that I have your attention, let's talk about what you put on your feet. Specifically, socks.

Give me your favorite sock brands. Don't gatekeep!

I just found out that Pete Davidson is promoting a sock brand called doublesoul. Has anyone heard of it?

I'm always looking for comfy socks. I think I'm getting out of my crazy socks era.

I live in Florida. What are these sock things that you speak of???!!!

Seriously, I cannot wear anything besides orthopedic flip flops right now with my hurt foot, so socks are not on my radar at all!

It can be 1000 degrees outside and I will always be wearing socks at night. My feet (and fingers) area always freezing.

My favorite socks are from J. Crew (any type).

You guys are crazy BOMBAS are the best. Gifted some to my mom and she said she would never go back. They are a little pricey but worth it.

Only thing is, they are a little thick (because they are supportive) so cant really wear with shoes that are a little tight.

I saw Zac Efron wearing some in a movie. They have signature markings on them, ok nvm hes the spokesperson for them

    BOMBAS FTW!

Also my mom has neuropathy and structure issues, the bombas support and dont move.

Good to know, as I have had about $100+ worth of Bombas in my cart on their website for months now. I keep getting email reminders about it.

I know you Floridians have socks. I just won a pair at Dave and Buster's in Orlando. I hope your foot heals quickly.

I bought Bombas for my then baby boy. I've never bought a pair for myself. Of course, babies can't speak so I don't know if my son liked them or not.

I hate socks but I hate feet more. I wear whichever of Walmart's finest I happen to run into in the aisle first. The second I get home it's nakee feet for me.
My biggest foot issue, besides my enormous disgust of feet, is cracked heels. So I do this thing my sister-in-law told me about. A cup of brown Listerine, a cup of cider vinegar w/ the mother, a basin of water. Soak 20 minutes and then pumice.

it works for me. It smells like ew but it softens the callouses and makes them easier to rough off.

A Listerine and apple cider vinegar foot soak can be a home remedy for fungal infections like athlete's foot or toenail fungus, as well as for softening dry, calloused skin. The antiseptic properties of Listerine, combined with the antifungal properties of vinegar, are believed to help combat fungal infections.
How to make a Listerine and apple cider vinegar foot soak:
    Ingredients:
1 cup Listerine (original formula is often recommended)
1 cup apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
    2 cups warm water
    Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a basin or tub large enough to soak your feet.
Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes.
Gently scrub your feet with a pumice stone or washcloth to remove dead skin.
Rinse your feet with clean water and dry thoroughly.
Moisturize your feet with a lotion.

I am going to have to make this for my husband whose feet are very rough. For some reason, I have never had any issues with callouses (knocking on wood).

I have dry skin everywhere, especially my feet. Oddly, it's mostly on my right foot, not my left. So dry and the skin is peeling, I am constantly lotioning it which seems to only help temporarily. I use Cera Ve or however you spell it. I will have to try this concoction you mention!

My face is so dry I have to use Aquaphor on it.

You have to get the calluses off first (with the shaver) and then keep it moisturized and filed down.

Yeah I know that's the way to do it, but to be honest the thought grosses me out. I don't think I really have calluses (aren't those like bumps?) just dry skin that itches and will peel off. Story of my life, I have the worst skin. I remember as a kid constantly going to the dermatologist.

Nope, just very dry skin like on your heels and the balls of your feet and toes.

CC, look what you did! Feet are gross!

So I used to do pedicures years ago and my go to was a cream that you rub in and the dead skin comes off while you massage it in. But I would still do an exfoliater after the oil massage. I used a file when needed, but didnt need one.

When it comes to my own feet, Ive always been super lazy. My husband likes to soak his feet and use the file lol. I used his Dr. Teals stuff, yummy orange flavor and they were so soft after. The stuff is cheap too.

Gena Pedi Care Sloughing lotion. Its crazy how much skin comes off. I thought it was so cool to see it work.

I still give my mom pedicures bc her feet are very sensitive and they are always too rough at the the salon.

I have perma callouses under my toes bc of my stupid extra bones.

What can I say?! I'm a trendsetter. *shrugs*

I've been lucky with the bottom of my feet. *knock on wood* When I used to get pedicures, they rarely got any dead skin off my feet. My toenails, on the other hand, give me a problem. I'm not good with clipping my toenails; they're always lopsided.

To make up for the fact that I don't have dead skin on my feet, I used to put glue on my hands and peel it off. I have graduated to using peel-off masks.

I fucking love that one peel of mask that smells like oranges you can get at Sally's.

My mom has the same issues with cutting her toe nails, so I just do hers.

I use CeraVe on my face right before bed every night. I never thought to use it on my feet. I will have to try that.

That is funny that your right foot is more dry skin. Cant imagine what would cause only 1 foot.

CeraVe winds up treating my hands automatically since I am putting it on my face with my hands haha.

And for the original question of this post, I actually despise wearing socks. I'm barefoot at home almost 100% of the time except for when exercising.

I cannot live without my socks. I literally could not sleep without them. Angie recommended Bombas and now I am hooked on those.
