The porn that was found on TA's computer? That Arias's defence attorneys used for her hearing, what was the outcome of that?

    Did it do any damage?

  3. #40128
The porn that was found deleted from TA's computer? Was this a mitigating factor used in the defence of Jodi?

I heard Nurmi on the Nancy Grace podcast a while back and wondered how he got away with writing that book. I guess he didn't, huh?

I had seen a couple, but most of those were new to me. Could you imagine being his friends and finding him like that? Horrendous. The bitch needs to be buried under the jail. And to think that she tried to use the battered woman's defense. Fucking gross.

Yeah, these were shown at the trial.
So much rage behind those wounds inflicted.
I'm pretty sure Juan Martinez said she killed him either 3 or 2 times over.

Then she came in to court and tried to assassinate his reputation.

I don't think he was good in his treatment to her in the sense that he was never going to marry her. That he called her a 3 hole wonder. But she should have walked away. She utterly annihilated him.

I don?t know who has seen this or not, but there?s a documentary on Peacock telling more from Kirk Nurmi?s side of his experience with Jodi.

I wish it were longer, but it does flesh things out a bit.

    Highly recommended.

If you look to your left, you'll see all the people who can't stop beating a dead horse (Jodi Arias post).

That’s wild, isn’t it? He looks years younger and like a different person.

I recall reading somewhere that he knew that he would be disbarred for the book, but he didn’t want anything more to do with lawyering after dealing with Jodi.

He detested her and once he beat cancer, he changed his life around.

We never know where life’s gonna lead us… Or how we’re going to pick up the pieces afterwards, do we.

Another thing, I don’t know if I managed to post this a few years ago, but one of our members here who had gone to Travis’s house to take photos after the crime scene had been opened to the public, drowned while swimming with her toddler.

She’d fallen and hit her head and then rolled into the pool. Her toddler survived being unsupervised until his father got home.

Out of respect for her, if nobody’s made an entry about her death, I will. It was a tragedy and her little boy had to witness it.

She had stopped participating in the thread after her husband began having issues with it, but she’d always been engaging and just a sweet personality.

I’m really glad to see that my death space is still here… This is the only one of my favorite forums that has survived this long and I’m really really happy to see the regulars I used to go back in the day.

The Jodi Arias thread was an event all of its own and I doubt we will ever see another like it.

I remember some talk about him being disbarred, but I didn't know they actually did it. He looks like a totally different person!

I vaguely remember that member going to his house and taking pics and having them in her photobucket or some type of photo account. Is it Tawnidilly? We do not have a death thread for her, that would be wonderful if you could make a thread for her.

Also, it looks like Travis' house sold again in 2018. There are some pics here: https://www.redfin.com/AZ/Mesa/11428.../home/27544743
A lot of it looks pretty much the same as I remember from the trial photos. I would have thought they would do a lot more updating and changing.

Ah Kirk, I remember him well. The Jodi Arias story should have been retitled 'When even your atty. hates your lying ass'

I had no idea about the member, as I never followed this thread, really. Please make a thread!

    Guys…?

I’m very embarrassed to say this, but I believe I have this woman’s identity wrong.

She may not have been a member on this forum, but she was a true crime writer who wrote a book about the Arious case after following it for many years and being present in the courtroom.

    Her name is Shana Hogan.

I don’t know if she and the member here were the same person and I deeply apologize if indeed they weren’t

I’ll still make a thread for Miss Hogan.

I did a deep dive after you posted the other day and I figured out who TawniDilly is IRL and I wasn't 100% sure she had passed, so I was waiting to see what you said. She was definitely the one who took the real estate pics of Travis' house, but I thought maybe it was another member you might be talking about.

Shana Hogan rings a bell too. If you want, make a thread for her in general and then I will research in the member's section to see if I can figure out if she was a member her. If she was I will update your thread and move it to the member death threads section. Either way, she definitely needs a thread! Thanks!
