Elon Musk's bromance with the orange fat one is over.

The simmering tension between President Donald Trump and Elon Musk exploded in public Thursday, with the president sharply criticizing the Tesla CEO's attacks on the Republican policy bill and Musk firing back that the president would have lost the election without his help.

“I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office during a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. “I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot.”

Reacting to Trump's comments on X, Musk first brushed them off, posting "whatever," before quickly escalating to claims that Trump owes his election victory to him. He posted criticism of Trump or the bill over two dozen times in the hours that followed.

"Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate," he said. "Such ingratitude," he added.

Trump fired back later Thursday on Truth Social, his rival platform, claiming that Musk "went crazy" after the president "asked him to leave" his White House role.

Musk, who spent more than $250 million to help Trump in last year's presidential election, said last month that he planned to do "a lot less" political spending in future elections. “I think I’ve done enough," he told Bloomberg.

Now I realize, all those horrible things are exactly what the people wanted. The amount of posts I am seeing (from all the ICE raids in CA) with "yes!! get them all!!" and "go back to where you came from!" is sickening. Aware that “no Indigenous representation was there at the time,” Crowchild said he “prayed to my creator” and “really thought of those suffering around the world” in choosing to speak to Trump. He said that, ultimately, the U.S. president is “just another person."

“Some would say he’s a horrible person, and we all know many reasons," Crowchild said. "I stood taller than him as proud Tsuut’ina Isgiya.”

When the Trump Organization unveiled its new Trump Mobile wireless service on Monday, it said its upcoming T1 smartphone will be “proudly designed and built in the United States.”

But experts told CNN they’re skeptical that a smartphone can be built in the US based on the specifications, price and timeline laid out by Donald Trump, Jr., and Eric Trump, when they announced the phone.

Experts pointed out striking similarities between the T1’s specifications and an already available, Chinese-made phone.

The Trump family say on Trump Mobile’s website and in the formal announcement in Trump Tower on Monday that the phone will be “Made in the USA.”

But later, in a clip from an interview with conservative media personality Benny Johnson, Eric Trump said “eventually all the phones can be built in the United States of America.”

President Trump slammed Time magazine early Tuesday for using an unflattering picture for a cover story about “his triumph” in securing the releases of Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity.

“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.“They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird!”

The cover, bearing the headline “His Triumph” featured a portrait shot from below and slightly to the right of the 47th president, giving the viewer a close-up look at Trump’s right ear, cheek, eye and nostril.

“I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out,” added Trump before concluding his post with the question: “What are they doing, and why?”
