I did see that, but had to jump on a meeting before I could post here. She is withdrawing the claims of intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress after Baldoni's attorneys sought discovery. It is clear she/her attorneys realized having no documented medical records associated with stress, distress, etc., would essentially put into question her claims.

This gives way to the fact that it also demonstrates some of her other claims must be questionable as well. I think she didn't realize just how damaging this entire case would be for not only her own career, but for her husband's career as well.

This is what I know....she made a movie with Justin called "It Ends With Us". It is a serious movie about domestic violence. Blake did several interviews and did not take the message of the film seriously. She did not care about domestic violence victims in my opinion, and in Justin's. He saw this as disrespectful and disgusting, and called her out. She said him speaking out hurt her brand *eye roll*

Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, she decides to sue him for sexual harassment. Perfect timing to distract from the way she behaved, and to make her a "victim". I dont believe, for one damn second, that he sexually harassed her.

Shes an idiot and narcissist, and a sinking ship. Unfortunately for Ryan, she spawned 4 times with him. So he cant just jump ship.

I didn't know very much about her either...other than she was married to Ryan and friends with Taylor Swift. After this movie came out, she was largely criticized because she focused her press tour on the thought that women can get all dressed up, head out together in flowery dresses/jewelry and watch a girlie-movie with their friends.

The issue is the movie was about domestic violence against women. Instead of using her platform to bring focus to that important topic, she essentially acted like a moron and dismissed it altogether. I don't think she is very bright and she didn't realize the backlash she would receive.

After people voiced their disdain about her behavior, she then all the sudden tried to ruin the director/costar's life and livelihood by accusing him of abuse (verbal and I think potentially sexual in nature).

Justin Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, addressed the dismissal of the $400 million defamation lawsuit in a statement released on Tuesday, June 10.

He claimed that Lively and her team were celebrating far too early because the war was not over, even if they achieved a small victory. Baldoni's attorney explained:

"Ms. Lively and her team's predictable declaration of victory is false, so let us be clear about the latest ruling. While the Court dismissed the defamation-related claims, the Court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations."

The legal rep assured TMZ they were not disheartened by the judge's decision to toss the defamation lawsuit out of Court.

Instead, Baldoni and his lawyer saw the outcome as an opportunity to prove Lively dropped false accusations of sexual harassment and claims of a nonexistent smear campaign to ruin the actor's image.

Justin Baldoni's lawyer has said the US actor chose not to refile his $400m (£295m) lawsuit against his former co-star Blake Lively after it was dismissed by a judge, in order to retain the right to lodge an appeal.

After Baldoni's case was dismissed in June, his lawyer suggested he would file an amended complaint, but that did not happen.

Last month, the judge entered a "final judgment" in the case, effectively ending it unless there is an appeal.

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have reached a settlement in their contentious legal battle over their 2024 film "It Ends With Us."

Attorneys for Lively and Baldoni said in a joint statement Monday that they hope the settlement "brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment."

I used to kind of like Ryan Reynolds until this all came about. I have heard some really bad things about his character since then, so I am no longer going to watch him in anything.
