Jenna - Murphy is gorgeous!!! We are going to be getting a puppy this summer and his name will be Darby Murphy (named after my great great grandfather who immigrated from Ireland).
My granddog Mylo will be 19 in October, he's partially blind and deaf but still gets around and has a hearty appetite. I'm flying to Amsterdam to babysit him next month. He's the sweetest little boy.

Keep your fingers crossed that nothing happens while I'm babysitting. Last two times I did this we had emergency trips to the vet. First one for an abscess caused by a foxtail burr, and the second time because he was coughing and wheezing and didn't want to take walks (which he LOVES). He was diagnosed with an enlarged heart that time. We know we can't hold on to him forever, I just don't want him to check out on my watch. Both his mother and I would be devastated.

Poor baby. He reminds me of the love of my life, Stormy (Yorkie), who died on his 16th birthday on October 16th. He went into heart failure towards the end. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy your time with your granddog.Originally Posted by KimTisha

Most of you probably already saw this on my FB, but it's too hilarious not to share. My cat popping up through the window to demand more food. He gets fed like FIVE TIMES PER DAY between the two households and that's only the houses we know about. He's deadly

He's definitely a character. Please ignore the dirt of the window. We had a mega wind storm the other day that turned everything to mud and he is always pawing at the thing. This is also what I mean by it being impossible to keep an old house in Ireland clean. It's a losing battle.
