How long ago did the 'alleged' Trespass happen? Wasn't it some time ago now? Gotta admit it's weird that they should be laying charges now, I've been charged with Trespass, but the charge came pretty much after the incident. I got off by the way, need a good defense? ;-)

I'm pretty sure they decided to charge him with trespassing so they could get his DNA. They probably needed to show the judge something solid to get the judge to order the DNA test ... such as evidence proving he likes to lurk around the funeral home like an obsessed weirdo. And they needed a reason to get him in custody.
Is what what I really think? Missions Parks moves bodies from that facility to their crematory all the freaking time. What is so complicated? It's routine for them.

Ah, thanks, that makes sense. What if the body never really left the funeral home and is hidden on the premises in plain sight somewhere? I know this sounds icky when talking about the death of a beautiful young lady, but would have the body been preserved and odourless?

A hail mary move on the detectives part. They have nothing and are receiving some sort of pressure while the statute of limitations runs out.

Maybe they found something and waited for that to happen to use what they could to keep any request for DNA separate. If I had ever formally been charged, I'd be entitled to the ends and the outs of the ongoing case.

First, please forgive me. I have a head injury so I'm trying to see if I have this all straight. Julie's funeral was in August 2015. Bill was caught on surveillance video trespassing in June 2016. Twice. The article I read, said a judges signed off on a warrant for DNA. Here's a link to the article where I read this.

Diversion? Assuming this is your first charge and you don't make a habit of getting arrested lol. I was arrested for Trespass at Occupy Auckland, but it was in a public park, inevitably I got off, douchebag cops.
I would sue them but those are just more memories I don't want.

You don't qualify for legal aide or a pro-bono Lawyer? I'm not swre how the (in)justice system works there, it seems a waste of money to shell out to lawyers, on a case that seems to be going nowhere, and to be honest, I doubt you'd win a lawsuit against to cops until the case is solved, which I don't think will ever be the case.
