I had a situation this week where I had an entombment scheduled at a local cemetery's mausoleum. The cemetery called us prior the funeral to delay the arrival of the service. I later found out the crypt became a 'crime scene' that they found a casket inside, that there wasn't any ID on the casket, not the cemetery's interment band nor the funeral home's band. This cemetery is very strict regarding ID and proper paperwork and isn't hesitant to turn the funeral home away from entering for interment that can't produce ID/paperwork.
Now I'm thinking could this have happened to Julie's body? A safe place until the body snatchers can move her to a permanent place? Food for thought...
That's really creepy. I wonder what the logistics for that are - how do you sneak a coffin into a mausoleum with nobody noticing? Is the cemetery in a secluded area and is there access 24 hours a day? I'd imagine you'd have to do it at night. Then, aren't most mausoleums pretty secure?

Was there a body inside the casket KWD? It takes more than one person to carry a casket. They had to know that someone would eventually be put in that space.

Last I heard the cemetery was waiting for a court order to remove the casket from the crypt and to open the casket in hope that the deceased is wearing ID bracelets. This cemetery has security 24/7 and all funeral vehicles must be escorted by the cemetery lead man. The funeral vehicle that is carrying a casket/container with a deceased person must provide the permit/paperwork before entering the cemetery. In addition to security, the cemetery has several grounds supervisors that are always monitoring all activities in the cemetery. Also they have cameras along the fences and at the only entrance/exit gate. Certainly would be interesting as to the outcome.
I'm surprised (shocked) that it happened in this cemetery, Any other cemetery I could see it, but not here. The reason I posted this here is to show that if anyone really wanted hide a casket or body, it can be done.

I'm really curious about this. Who would go through all of that trouble, and it sounds like they'd have to perform a pretty stealthy mission here, and why? Like you said, you could see it happen at any other cemetery, so why this one if it's going to be that much more difficult?

A girl died of natural causes. Her body went missing from the funeral home. Her ex-boyfriend was accused of stealing her body from the funeral home. There has been no arrests. Some on here think the funeral home f'ed up. Some think Bill (the ex) took the body.

I talked to one of the detectives recently who mentioned that the case is still "wide open"......which I've equated to less than jack shit considering how fucking simple something like this should be....
I've also talked to one of her "friends" who is still fucking convinced that it was me....
what a bunch of fucking cowards.....
I have a pretty good idea of who is responsible ....I've made it very clear to the detectives who that person is.....
but my patience is wearing thin.
I do know where they live.....I know everything about them but like I said......my patience is running out.
There's nothing really left to say until, if ever, new evidence cores to light. I'm not as certain of my perspective as I previously was, certain comments you've made clearly show that you loved her, and at some point she, in turn, lovel you?
Would someone, such as yourself, who loved her so much, really violate her body and memory in such a way? I really don't know now.
And would Julie really have loved a man who would cause such pain to her family Anl turn her death into some sick kind of sick circus? Somehow I doubt it.
