I think it's because people who know him well have seen him about buying numerous things. With an influx of cash intended to go to a headstone, folks are assuming that should be tended to first. So far, no headstone. But new dirt bikes, and a new car.

You'd think, with a new baby girl, he'd be more worried about that.

Hell, I couldn't even afford a new shirt when I had babies in the house, much less dirt bikes and Escalades.
