Hello, i'm Amanda. i'm 14 and im not sure how to feel about this place. one of my friends has recently died and ever since i have had this obsession with death. it fascinates me and kind of creeps me out at the same time. but i have many questions i hope people can help me with.
I think a lot of us are here because we have the same questions. Death can be the great unknown. I wonder if when you die is somehow predetermined in the grand scheme of things.

thanks boston babe. rumor is she died of some kind of intoxication, but its been a month and no one is saying anything.
Unfortunately you may never find out the truth. As frustrating as it is. If the Family decides they don't want people to know, then they'll keep it hush hush

yeah that is so true. the family is waiting for answers too. the people who did the autopsy are not saying how she died. i know she went to a party and they are waiting for a toxicology report. reading on other people who died of similar circumstances and what is involved in toxicology is how i came across this site.
The people who did the autopsy cant say how she died without the toxicology report. It's a part of the process. I'm pretty sure it takes 6-8 weeks to come back.

does that mean she died of drugs? i was supposed to go to that party, but my parents wouldn't let me. i cant help think that might of been me. and maybe it is why im so obsessed with death now. for the past month i've done nothing but look it up on the net. and ive seen things that trouble me and its creepy to think these things were done to her because i know the girl she was and didn't deserve to be cut up like that. i've been having dreams of me laying there. and i find it disturbing and facinating. even a little erotic. is that natural?
I don't know how she died Hun. It could have been a number of things. My guess would be alcohol poisoning.
I don't know what you have seen on the Internet, but coroners don't mutilate bodies of dead people. Your friend didn't feel a thing.
I'm not sure about the erotic feeling towards death, but I did see it on a porn once. So you aren't the only one that feels that way.

i hope you are right, i am confused about it myself. but the pictures i saw were people during and after autopsies which she had done to her, and they were pretty mutilated. before i joined i happened onto a thread here which had several people who work in morgues and mortuaries answering questions, i'm hoping to get some of the questions i have answered. and some of them are bizar and creepy, but they are the best to ask since they work in those areas.
I lost a friend when I was 15, and it has haunted me all my life. There had been deaths in my family before, so it wasn't the first funeral I went to. Still when you're young, there's a lot of "what ifs" when it's a friend. It hits you hard.
Do your parents know how you feel? If she was a student at your school, did they offer grief counseling? I really think you need to talk to an adult.
I was good friends with her. We went to the same church congregation and I slept many weekends at her house. She is the first real dead person I've seen. And you are right, it was so sudden and it hit everyone hard. I will never forget the last words she will ever say to me, and it was just a irrelevant phone conversation. I hate talking on the phone, so it was short and to the point. But that's all there is now.
No. My parents do not know and because of some of the erotic feelings I have about it, I'm afraid or even ashamed to go to them. When she first died our minister talked to us teens about it as far as the comforting and dealing with the loss.
Maybe seek out an alternative to the minister. Do you have a trusted school counselor? Maybe a teacher? We're all pretty harmless and cool here so I'm glad you are seeking out answers with us first. But please be careful about who you talk to and trust on the internet with this subject matter. It's better if you find someone you can trust in person.
There's always a chance that your parents will find out about your feelings by going to someone, but I think that's better than coming across some not so nice people on the internet. Just be careful.
