I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this was planned. I could be way wrong but that jury gets to go home now and over the weekend, think about the Alexander family. They will come back on Monday and pretty much forget all the emotion and feelings from today and listen to Jodi and her friends blab a bunch of bullshit!

ETA My point is, Jodi gets her full day to display her art, whimper and say poor me.

The Judge needs to get this shit show on the road! The State paid for the felon's witnesses to come to AZ and there is no court tomorrow. So now they'll have to go the expense of bringing them back? What a waste of time/money.

Maybe Patty is refusing to testify? She hadn't seen the felon in 10yrs until her wedding. They weren't "close" at all in the later years.

Maybe the defense didn't LIKE what Patty had to say? Maybe Patty is afraid of what Juan could ask her about? This trial has just become totally too much. I can't imagine what the jury must feel like.

One of the most disturbing scenes, ever. When I was in nursing school (hospital school w/dorm), we would sit around at night, scaring ourselves silly recounting what he did to those poor women, wondering if a copy cat was out there.

Did the defense just find out that Jodi's friend had to do an audio and didn't want to be seen? Nice time to find out when she's ready to get on the stand. Maybe she wasn't dressed appropriately or she has to do a whole audio and we didn't have time today. This poor jury must be stressed to the max! They go to lunch at 3:30 then come back at 5:00 then at 6:30 are told to come back Monday. Just don't understand it!
