She's drugged. For sure. Her eyes are at half mast. Looks to me like she's on Benzos; Valium, Xanax, Klonopin etc. I've seen this look many times in my line of work. If you'll notice, she will start the day like this, but the meds wear off after a few hours and she'll start perking up. (Unless, of course, the give her another dose.)

I hope she is stoned as hell and wears the shirt with bare shoulders. She will definitely save Stabby from DP. I know this is a serious phase, but with the Defense starting, it is so hard not to laugh at them. Such a pitiful bunch, and that big old cross Disco Donna is wearing isn't going to help either. I have to sit still so I don't keep missing details. I wandered around while Nurmi was whining, but tried to focus when JM got up. I am dying to see how they present her "art". No reports of violence against her or abused as child - No abuse
No criminal acts prior to the killing - No criminal record

Again, don't kill me, but lets be fair.

To be fair, the reports that verify she is all of the above that I stated were according to others. all of the abuse came out of the mouth of a bullshit artist. i can't pick and choose what lies she tells are believable. as a whole, everything she says isn't believable. The slashing, the hacking etc. all came from people that I do not recognize as liars.
Listen, this abuse. I was abused. I have many friends from a support group that were/are going thru it. whether you file reports or tell everyone or do absolutely nothing, there are signs one gives off. whether it is behavior changes or visible bruises or just plain avoidance until bruises heal. someone recognizes this. almost always. <--I don't know statistics, don't make me go looking.
I don't buy what Jodi sells because frankly, she is fucking miserable at selling that story.

Is the fact that she asked for death in that interview going to require the law to "evaluate" her again to see if she's fit to send to death. I'm nervous that the jury may give her death, but that her own words will be a grounds for appeal and she'll sit in a mental institution because no "sane" person asks for death.

I saw that too. Almost made me feel sorry for her. But she brought ALL of this upon herself, including alienating her lawyers who were doing their best to defend the indefensible. That heady decision she made, to have her moment in the spotlight, her 45 min. post verdict interview, may have sealed her fate.

Do her witnesses get questioned and cross examined? If so, that could be why Mama Arias isn't going to speak. I don't know why, but I'm not surprised about her family not testifying.

She was very specific as to why she wanted death. I think her reasoning of not wanting to stay in one place for the rest of her natural life is a very sane argument. Especially if you consider the way her life was with Travis. Nothing about that interview makes me think she is not fit to prosecute. JMO

You know if this was my kid (God Forbid) there would be NO WAY that you could keep me from speaking. I'm sorry but this woman sat in that courtroom from day one to support her daughter. She, at the least, deserves to speak.

Did you see Willmott pull away as Arias leaned into speak to her?

They are disgusted with her. JW was like her BFF throughout the whole trial with their note passing and gigglefests. She can't even stand to look at her now.
