ETA In a strange sick way, I almost wish that the Manson trial had been video'd in some fashion. I read the book, and i would be interested to see Bugliosi's style. He seemed very passionate and angry (like Juan).

I would love to have seen the Manson trial. I think you are correct, Bugliosi would present in a very similar fashion to Juan. Too bad they did not allow cameras in court back then. There is some footage of the defendants during the trial, but not in court, and my reaction when I see it is similar to my reaction to Jodi.... totally WTF?? I think that is why both trials are so fascinating, because the WTF factor is so high. We feel compelled to try and understand, to try and figure it out.
