What reporter WOULDN'T have done that interview if it was offered? I just can't fault him for doing it... glad Travis' family is cool with it, too.

Did you hear that she plans on addressing the jury directly without allowing the defense or the prosecution to ask her questions? This is what I am referring to. She has some plan that she is concocting. She's not going out with a sob story of 'Im sorry'.

I did see that but I don't think she wants to die. I think she is terrified of the idea. I realize that she probably thinks she can play reverse psychology with the jury, and that they will "punish" her by giving her Life instead, but I don't think the jury is falling for it.

I certainly do no think she is going to apologize or accept responsibility. But, I can't see her continuing to push the same story at the jury that they've already rejected. I tend to think that she won't in fact speak at all, unless she circumvents her attorneys. They would be extremely foolish to let her keep spewing the same mantra that they jury already doesn't believe.

If I felt that she was really wanting the DP, then I would agree she would go out in a hateful tirade, but I really think she wants to live.

Yep, this interview was every crime reporter's dream. I just wish he could have been more skeptic and asked more incisive questions. He was "petting her in the back" and treating her like she was a victim of an unjust verdict.

I'm back to my daughters place and trying to unwind. What a day. What an experience being in the courtroom this morning. I've got lots of thoughts and observations that I will post after I get a bite to eat and some liquid refreshments.

It was a treat meeting Ian. He is very articulate and speaks eloquently. I look forward to hearing his thoughts on today too.

I think they managed to get two interviews because even JVM is not a complete moron, and she saw how well they spoke and how familiar they were with the case and wanted to use them for post conviction interviews as well. I would imagine that regular folks seeing those interviews were impressed as well with how well spoken they were (not just all their pals here on MDS).

I actually agree with a lot of this... every time I listen to her ninja/intruder story, I hear other things that make me think she's describing the actual scene as if she were watching it instead of participating in it.

Nah. I think she came out with the Ninja story/shot first because Det. Flores mentioned it. Then she made up her story. That's why the DT made such a point of Det. Flores "changing his story."

Ok, so just heard Travis' friend break down on Nancy Grace about coming across the autopsy photos online! Heartbreaking! I stumbled upon my first picture of TA, crime scene body, on the Huffington Post website. I was very shocked, and consequently, cried a lot afterwards! A horrifying site yes? And I'm not a friend (granted), and after following this case since 2009, it gave some idea of the absolute horror that was inflicted upon this man! Then, eventually, (I now know MDS published them early on) there was an onslaught of autopsy pics, everywhere.

But here is my question to anyone who may know? If Florida has 'Sunshine Laws', how come we were prevented from seeing the tiny skull of Caylee Anthony? Surely there was a lot less to see there? Apart from the obvious horror of a child's body being left to decompose in a swamp a couple of 100yrds from their Mother's home! But the autopsy photo's of Travis are what 'made this case' (IMO)! THEY ARE HORRIFIC!
