So, posting in the "Jodi" thread now lumps one into a "psycho" or "whackadoo" category, and this pisses me off. Why? I am unsure, but I refuse to delve into why, because, frankly, it seems a tad judgemental, and more than a little hypocritical. Refer to the closed down thread where all you judgemental asshats STARTED to talk about Jodi. so, new people join, and I can assume it is to discuss the case of why this bitch slaughtered Travis.
This site and the "Jodi" thread (although it WAS the death of Travis) has evolved into umpteen threads, why? Cuz there's rules. and evidently rules lead to rebeliousness, rebeliousness leads to chaos etc. Which is part of the madness of the subject.
I lurked reading about the death of this young person by a woman who couldn't shut her fucking mouth. Pretty? who cares? I found it interesting to read ALL the viewpoints of the why, because the starter article seemed to indicate there could be no other suspect. So, it pretty much came down to WTF happened.
ALL of the posts were interesting to me, a little repetitive, yes, sometimes absurd, sometimes wildly offensive, sometimes amazingly, eerily the same as my own viewpoint. So I decided to actually post. Threw down some scotch and decided to bullshit about the case with strangers, finding, oddly, comfort in the outrage and the opinions expressed in that thread.
So fucking what if I didn't agree, it was always informative to hear how someone else saw a piece of evidence, or an email, or a behavior exhibited by the defendant. But that is what I find interesting about human nature and trials. Since the verdict, I've seen alot of fuckery and judgements being passed on those who watched the trial and participated in a FORUM on the death of Travis. yah, the case and the thread seemed a tad outta control, but so fucking what? Is there a need for so many threads, hell no. (but it does make it easier to find links and shit in the link page.) The memes and pictures seemed to slow shit down. yah, there is some sick humor involved in this. How can you NOT find some of the ridiculous SHIT she says and does, aside from the actual murder of course, sickeningly funny? I'm sick of being judged. I'm annoyed that it even makes a fucking difference to me if a bunch of total strangers discussing death on a death site want to judge me or my childhood, or my HOMELIFE, that clearly spend as much time here as I do. please., based on which fucking thread I post on, or what sick shit I find humorous.
I know I digress, and sound disjointed. oh well, not a writer. Just some thoughts from psycho, whackadoo, me. PS. NOT a "Jodi Fan" a little offended to be fucking lumped in that category too. And yes, perhaps I am taking the stereotypes a little too personal. why? who the hell knows, maybe I am really pissed at some of the most interesting posters being driven away

Well, I hope you personally do not take offense alyoop, as my statements did not include one name of any of the posters who frequent the thread, it was a question cast to the folks who wanted to answer. Spend as much time here as you want, hell, join other conversations. My mind just has a hard time grasping why this case should have it's own fucking forum. It doesn't make sense to tailor this website for the people who refuse to follow forum rules (that they signed up for, no less) and allow certain people to run the conversation like they are some type of expert moderator.
No offense should be taken unless there is some truth to the jab. Being defensive because others are voicing their opinions is just as fruitless as others trying to make sense of the fuckery that became of that thread.
Also, I can think of a million other threads that could use sub-forum topics. How about we just narrow it down to domestic violence and call it a day?
