that's the thing... some of us (ahem... me) are old enough to remember the glory days of SNL... I haven't watched in quite a while but whatever that was last night did not do the SNL tradition any good.

And as for the so-called "glory days" not 100% of it was gold. Yea, that's right, I said it. Even when His Holiness Jim Belushi and Saint Bill Murry were there, they had sketches that went nowhere. For every Richard Pryor "Word Association" sketch there are 4 that were totally forgotten (because they sucked).
And to start with "I haven't watched for quite awhile" and then give an opinion anyway....is some of the most arrogant, condescending shit.

Meh. Everything isn't made for everyone. As an SNL fan, I've basically spent my entire life hearing people say the EXACT same thing regardless of who's in the cast. It's annoying.

no, no! it's ok! and i understand that... i'm a fan of sketch comedy - it's just like, put a little effort into it. you didn't watch much of the trial, but there are like a million better ways they could have incorporated jodi arias into the sketch.
