After five long years, the Jodi Arias trial came to a climatic end with a guilty verdict for Murder in the First Degree. Justice spoke loud and clear, in a trial consumed with sex, lies and audiotape. As I discussed in past blogs, Arias was not insane or incompetent or a battered woman. She did not suffer from PTSD, nor borderline personality disorder, nor was she a sociopath. The DSM IV, with all of its 365 diagnoses, does not explain Arias?s behavior and there is no one or no circumstance left to blame other than Jodi herself.
As much as we want to place her in a nice psychiatric diagnostic box, complete with a bow on top it just doesn?t work. The DSM system was never designed to explain criminal behavior and for all the ?experts? using it, you are just plain misguided. Here?s the simple analysis: Arias was a spoiled, selfish brat, unable to handle Alexander's rejection. She, like many in this day and age, wanted what she wanted -- NOW, and didn?t care what it took to get it. When she finally realized Travis would never be hers, she calmly decided, ?well, if I can?t have him, then nobody else will, either? and planned his death.
Typically, this disorder or that disorder is not the reason for an evil act. It?s much simpler than that -- greed, jealousy, anger, obsession, revenge. These base human emotions still explain so much about bad human behavior and these are not part of DSM I, II, III or IV (or the soon to be released 5). Sometimes a person is just plain evil, and that is not a mental health diagnosis. Arias has gotten away with bad behavior all her life, and is now being held accountable -- maybe for the first time ever.

One thing I have not been able to find an answer to is Travis' room mates....where the hell were they during the days after the murder that Travis' body was decomposing in the shower? None of them knocked on his door at some point? No one wondered why they hadn't seen or heard him in the house or his office? No one used the washer/dryer for those days? Or the dishwasher? And the friend that made the 911 call said that when she first entered the house there was a smell that she assumed was a mess the dog had made. So didn't the room mates smell this?! I'm so confused by this. And I'm a HUGE dog lover and can't help but wonder if anyone fed Napoleon and let him out during these days?
Have either of the male room mate/friends that actually found Travis' body in the shower done any interviews? The above mention female friend came to the house but it was 2 males I believe that actually went in to the bathroom and found Travis.
The spotlight has NEVER been on her, with the majority of us, Mr. Alexander. We have not ever let the spotlight shine on her. This has always been about Justice for TRAVIS!! And we are all there, spiritually, to see it all the way through! Justice WILL be served.

I remember hearing a friend of Travis saying something like, Travis was so happy when she moved away so he didn't have to look behind his shoulder. Something like that, but not those exact words, I think you are right about him not thinking, even with her stalking behavior, she wasn't really capable of murder. I also agree when you say that if a man reported stalking, he could be labled as a wimp or something like that. That bothers me, even as a woman, that people would have to think of that and try to deal with that alone.

Work, girlfriend's houses, home.
They thought he was in Cancun. It was not unusual for them not to run into each other. They also didn't keep track of each other. It was also not unusual for Travis not to be around.
The police report says that one of them thinks they did laundry but apparently not since the clothes in the washer & dryer all belonged to Travis.
I believe that it is in the police report that one of them ran the dishwasher, but could be mistaken.
The smell of death is distinct, and unmistakeable so I can't answer as to how they didn't smell it or how bad it was.
One of the roommates girlfriends fed him.
I don't think that they have, yet.
The female was Mimi Hall the girl he was supposed to go to Cancun with. The 2 males, one was a roommate and one was a friend that went into the room and found his body.
The roommates did laundry right before the killing. They thought he had left for Cancun, like he told them he was going to do, and didn't realize the trip was a few days away. One roommate was staying with his girlfriend during that week, and the other worked a lot, so they weren't home that much. Napoleon wasn't very well house trained, and supposedly would poop places he shouldn't, so they assumed that is what happened.
The roommates said that smell wasn't very noticeable until around the day of discover. Since the door to his room/bathroom area was closed, it might have contained the odor.
Jodi put the downstairs gate up, presumably so Napoleon wouldn't go near Travis' door after the murder. A roommate's girlfriend fed and cared for Napoleon. She assumed he was in Cancun, and Travis had arranged for the roommates to look after him during the trip.

I don't find it too weird that the roommates didn't discover him earlier. He owned the house, and his bedroom door was locked. I lived with roommates all during college, and as a renter, pretty much minded my own business. If I smelled something bad coming from a roommate's room, I probably would have ignored it rather than invade their privacy by entering their bedroom with a key, especially if I thought that person was just away traveling. I certainly wouldn't expect to find a dead body unless that person was old or had health problems! I am sure they felt terrible afterward.
First of all I would not have driven over a TTY thousand miles to see an of flame' new flame no kind of flame. He would have had to be within 10-15miles. That is long distance. No way no how he probably wouldn't get me by phone. She was obsessed plain and simple!!!!!

Um, I think it's safe to say that those poor roommates are seriously damaged for life over living/in and out of the same house for 5 days while Travis lay decomposing upstairs. They're probably in therapy over it. I feel for those guys. I don't blame them for not answering the "smell" questions in the media. For Pete's sake, they have to live with that memory of that smell forever and the thought of him being dead upstairs... I really think the smell answer is that they had no idea what that smell was. They were two young guys renting a room in a house. Not many borders are going to investigate a smell in a house that they are renting a room out of. Especially young guys. Plus the dog was NOT potty trained and had a habit of crapping all over the place. Zach's gf fed the dog when she was over during that time. I think it's safe to say that whatever Hell the dog went through for those 5 days, Zach, Zach's gf and Enrique are going through way worse right now and will never get over it.
The dog is fine.

Yeah, the live feed sounds like what they would do if she isn't "up" to it. You just never know with her and all her stall tactics. I am firmly convinced the News Interview was clearly a way to hijack the sentencing phase, because she couldn't do nothing with the trial being over! What a troll.
I can't wait until she is sentenced and hauled out of that courtroom. It will not matter how many interviews she gives on her way out! When the sunsets that day she will go to that tiny cell and fade into nothing until she is executed. She can lay in her bed and use her warped brain to create all the lies she wants, therewill be noone to hear them.
