I said this to my husband yesterday... once she's been sentenced, she'll be forgotten. And if she's sitting on death row, all alone, she may just completely snap.
an
Meh... I say throw a knife in her cell and let her have at it. If she really wants to kill herself, let her do it and stop wasting taxpayer money.
Personally, I don't think she has it in her...
I don't find the Eddie Snell thing funny either but the audience certainly seems to. The whole PrePaidLegal business left me cold. Travis gave it his all and I admire that but the company is not one I would give credence to. I started this trial not warming to Travis Alexander. The sex tape, religious hypocrisy and PrePaidLegal selling didn't build an attractive picture of him. Neither did Eddie Snell. It didn't matter what I thought though as the evidence showed that he had been brutally slaughtered by a self-serving psychopath.
Slowly, Juan Martinez built up a picture of Travs that was more just. A friend of his posted a YouTube video of him being very natural, using hyperbole and it made me laugh. Travis was a warm, fun and funny guy. He was a loved, loving human being and deserved to live his life to the full. His family and friends have reclaimed him from Arias' malicious, evil lies. The Travis Alexander most people were introduced to at the start of the trial was a one-dimensional fiction invented by a murderer.
People are fascinated by extreme evil. They always have been. It is possible to extract goodness and human decency from the most terrible tales. Children's fairy stories have often been laced with horror but the moral of the story usually emerges clearly. Arias is of no importance or value but the message that good can and will triumph is as important as ever. Travis Alexander's family speak to us all about loss and pain, unimaginable cruelty and deeply touching humanity. Arias will be brushed to the background when the next vile murderer goes to trial, just as Anthony has been. The family and friends of Alexander will not fade from our memories, nor will their brother.
"Ms Arias do you have a problem with your memory? " ....
... "Sometimes I lose my memory when mean old men are yellin' at me and grillin' at me and asking me so many questions all the god damn time"

I know you posted this to show Troy Hayden's media whoredom, but it made me watch Sky Hughes' testimony again.
My God Stabby's face when Sky was walking to the stand!!! The flicking of her hair and the evil side glance! Then her mug when she was on the stand! That stuff is a million miles away from 'poor', 'soft-spoken', 'hard-done-by' Jodi, and she can't hide that stuff!
I couldn't agree more!
I can't believe there are people that think she really does want the death penaltyIf that were the case then why was she trying to get a plea bargain for 2nd degree? Because she didn't want to die!
I really hope they don't give her LWOP so she can hang out with the other prisoners, make her phone calls etc. Send her ass to death row to sit in a cell by herself year after year.
Does anyone have a picture of his mom and dad? I remember them being posted on here at one time?
Hi WT! I don't find the stuff he did in front of an audience with Eddie Snell funny. Seemed more of an in-joke maybe?
But there's a tribute video out there, and part of it is him as Eddie Snell. It's set up with his pals [he is Eddie Snell] and he's asking them if they now want to sign to a policy (I guess?), after hearing his talk. When they give excuses as to why they can't, he pretends to beat them up, and nicks their dosh. This made me LMAO! Maybe that says more about me, but it appealed to my sense of humor!
Defense probably tried to admit that to show Travis' strength, and potential for violence (arf, arf)! Fail!
I don't like motivational speakers, and I have to admit, that I hated 'The Secret', book and video! And JA has just ruined the law of attraction for me! One thing I am grateful for, is that she never mentioned Eckhart Tolle (who refused to participate in 'The Secret'), whose writings I am inspired by, and I'll quote him here, in reference to the situation Jodi now finds herself in:
"You attract and manifest whatever corresponds to your inner state"Eckhart Tolle
Sunday on the ID channel...there is an updated Jodi story.
They are calling it "obsession. The Jodi arias story" comes on at 8
I looked and can't find anything now. I know there was one of Travis with his Dad as a boy (in spiderman underwear). I remember one of his mom and dad, but can't find it right now. If I find them, I'll post :)
I don't have the ID channel. Hopefully this will be available somewhere else once it airs![]()
way OT but I just heard this on the interrogation tapes... very hard to understand what she says but I figured it out:
during the early stages of the "2 Ninjas story" she says she wasn't going to Arizona she was going to Monterey but when she called Matt McCartney he said he was in Santa Cruz and she met him at "the Red Room"

I've been by there many times.

I'm seeing a show on ID for Sunday with Lester Holt called, "Jodi Arias, boyfriend killer"... Is that the show that Berm is talking about??
Do have a theory 're why she was hooking up with Matt? Do you they had a drug connection?
Four guys in 4 days, 3 exes and 1 potential future boyfriend. Don't you get the sense this woman supplemented her "waitress" income with shall we say very questionable activities?
She also mentioned to Flores that she felt Travis was overly concerned 're her funds which I thought was an interesting nugget
"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves" .. Confucius
"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation " ...... Henry David Thoreau
Oh, yeah, that's been discussed. She slept at Matt's and his roommate's that night. I always thought she had deposited the $800. up near Yreka, but Martinez pointed out in rebuttal that it was on June 3rd - after her visit to Matt and Daryl.
By the way Daryl's name is actually Harry Daryl Brewer. Someone posted the real estate listing on the house he owned with Jodi. If you want to look it up.
I find it hilarious that Jodi once wrote a letter practically insisting that Nurmi remain on her case no matter what cost (of course, since she wasn't paying the bill), and now her family is trying to raise money for new counsel for a retrial...

Good luck with that!![]()
