Right! Won't be the first time some have played the valley girl version of 'haha I know something you don't know and I'm not going to tell you'.
I should have added the cautionaries Justices advise that I could find.
Relevant to the crime, not overly emotional aka hours of tear jerking video with music (music not relevant) just to flame emotion fires of 'reasonable' jurors. And an strong advisement to include jury instruction that victims statements although 'evidence' can not stand alone to prove an aggravator. Arizona has that instruction covered!
Arizona Jury Instruction
Capital Case 2.5 - Victim Impact Information
A relative of the victim made a statement relating to personal characteristics and uniqueness of the victim and the impact of the murder on the victim?s family. You may consider this information to the extent that it rebuts mitigation. You may not consider the information as a new aggravating circumstance.

Some of the people here have been following this case for the last 5 years! Why the hell would they stop now?
Ive been watching this since the trial started, I hadnt heard about it until then... But I can guarantee I will watch everything she puts out there... for me, that is all part of following this. It is unrealistic to think that people will stop watching what she does. whether it is something that will piss them off or not. People will stop following what JA says when JA is dead. I cant see it any sooner than that.
Karma is only a bitch if you are!
Not sure if anyone posted this already. If so, I apologize. It's a voicemail to Troy Hayden from Jodi.http://youtu.be/WiePr-Vsn6M
speaking for myself... I never said anything about not following the case... just that I will choose to ignore the post-conviction sideshow that has put JA front and center (I really don't care what she has to say now that she's a convicted murderer) ... Her being allowed to do a TV interview moments after being convicted is part of the "TMZ infection" of what used to be journalism. I worked in TV news when there were ethics and boundaries... I don't see too much of that anymore.

Jon Stewart talking about Nancy Grace... HILARIOUS
Im sorry, I didnt include the quote, I was more talking about the post that wasthinking made. And I realize it came off a bit snottyso I apologize for that. I mean no disrespect, I just believe it is unrealistic to think the people that have followed this will just stop. I mean... she is a disgusting waste of space, who really brings nothing to the table at this point, but because of how intensely this case has been followed, world wide, I just dont believe anyone is going to just stop. She is the reason this case got as big as it did. And whether you hate her or love her, the fact still remains that she is big news.
Again I apologize for being rude![]()

Sorry, apparently the link is not working. The note is here, with a working video

I didn't take it personally and I didn't think you were being rude. I get the fascination with her, I started following when I found out she was born (and raised 'till age 7 I think) near where I live and the local TV station was running stories on the trial (they interviewed a guy from the Ventana Inn last night in fact (Big Sur)
So yeah, she was a spectacle but personally I've had enough of her and my main focus is seeing the process completed and her getting what she deserves... part of which is NO MORE ATTENTION and coddling.
edit: and let me add: I'm not trying to censor what you or anyone else wants to say... just giving my 2 cents, that's all

I know your not trying to censor, and I should say the same. If a person wants to stop watching what she is saying, in court or out, that is up to them. And my opinion should make no difference in the matter. I am glad you did not find my post to be rude. I come off a little strong sometimes (ok quite often) and I dont want to offend anyone! Though I am aware that I sometimes do. I understand not giving her what she wants, but I am just too into the whole thing to say I wont watch if she puts something out there. I should not assume that others would feel the same way.
I think once the case is out of court and she fades away, she will try her damnedest to stay in the public eye. I dont think the following will be even close to what it is now and the stations wont likely pick up much. I dont think there is much left at this point for her to say that she hasnt said already. There will be another flavor of the month, so to speak, and she will be forgotten.

I absolutely believe that the original motives for their involvement is out pure altruism: a sense of compassion and to demonstrate and muster support for the Alexander family as they suffer through the unspeakible horror of loss of their brother and seek justice for him. There is no reason to question that and good reason to believe that they have been a comfort and a help. My comments are based solely on what I have observed. It appears that something has been added to that original motivation. That does not detract in any way from the original intent and the helpful things they have done. I saw proof of that when Tanisha appeared to thank them, along with others, and each got a hug in appreciation. Appearances do seem to indicate that, for some, opportunity has been added as a new element to the original motive. I can't help but wonder whether Katie's involvement and behavior at the court, has taken on the characteristics of an extended audition and an ego trip. That's not a severe criticism, just an observation.

honestly, I've never understood this character he created or find it funny. When Chris Hughes said his business was suffering not just because of killer, the first thing I thought of was this routine. Personally, I wouldn't buy a deck of cards from this kind of sales pitch.

My spidey-sense from the get-go was that she was an aspiring (wannabe) on-air talent (or publicity hound). I suppose there's nothing really wrong with that. (other than her far-right agenda... which is not not my cup-of tea...)
this is how she describes herself:
Christian, writer, fluent in Spanish, black belt Tae Kwon Do, pro-life, contributor to KFYI 550AM, Jazz singer, currently on Dr Drew HLN re; Jodi Arias trial

The video starts, and there is the men in polo shirts and the hair gel and taking notes...and then you see it isn't so professional of a speech at all. There wouldn't be much to gain from it from a business perspective at all that I saw, but it shows an outgoing person to stand up in front of a crowd and make people laugh, relax and not be so serious.
What's the point of the speech? Perhaps the understanding is that the speech is an example of what not to do and shows the pitfalls of his company. I could see some drawn in to a relatable guy with experience in the biz who yes, made mistakes in the business and wants to share them so others don't commit them.
Some things that were obviously questionable, particularly for a Utah crowd: He does mention Chili's (just a coincidence. seems the speech is pre-meeting with killer)and beating women and having an old lady in each city.
