The Sheriff should have cuffed her and took her ass of to a cell as soon as she was found guilty. Just like they do every other murderer found guilty. They hauled off Dr Murray that way. They hauled off Scott Peterson that way. They hauled off Drew Peterson that way. But this bitch is given a "make up" call and handed a tube of lip gloss and escorted to a private room where a handsome local news anchor is awaiting to interview her, getting the lighting right as the camera rolls, pussy footin' around her with stupid ass questions instead of asking the questions he should be asking? The ones the taxpayers want answered? The ones we have been pondering for 4 months? She is no starlette? She is a brutal murderess.
We wanted to see her handcuffed for godsake!!!!
Now she is submitting her "rider list" like the entertainers present before a performance?
1. No live victim statements, she will accept videos only
2. Will remain seated during jury verdict
3. No handcuffs
4. Wants to give an interview to preselected reporter immediately after verdict
5. Refuses LWOP, will only take DP
6. Requires private room with TV away from other lowly prisoners in County Jail
7. Requires lip gloss in L'Oreal's Pink Innocence shade
Well Arias wasn't in court yesterday so the freak out didn't happen there, probably down in the basement.
Listening to that phone message again Jodi left Troy Haden. She was in complete control over that aspect of this. I seriously don't think JW or Nurmi knew anything about it. She's been orchestrating it all herself. It fills a chapter in her memoir she is writing, directing, producing and staring in.
Could it be that the M1 conviction took awhile to sink in. The Hayden interview was only 20 minutes after that. I don't blame him at all for getting a scoop. He did a lot more than all the other media sitting outside the courthouse and their fake interviews. To bring up a sore subject, I'm reminded of all the reporters camped out in front of CA's trial, while little Caylee's body was right down the street.
Jodi was probably pissed she had to spend the night under suicide watch and was acting like the spoiled brat she is before court Thursday. Nurmi probably said it would be prejudicial for the jury to see her that way. She is a convicted murderer, SHE IS IN CONTROL OF NOTHING, and it's got to be killing her.
So, they'll give her some meds and bring her out again. Metis, do you care to take a guess of what they might be giving her?
The interview was on a local Fox channel in Phoenix, also on Greta Van Susteren on Fox News.

My OWN personal experience with the victim impact statements. It was determined the day before I was to give the victim impact statement for my daughter....who was 9 at the time......that it would be to bad for the defendant. The court had me write a letter, and the letter was submitted, and the judge read it out loud in the court.
The DA wanted me to do a video tape...but the court decided that even that would be to powerful and bad for the defendant b/c it would put a human face to the crime the defendant committed.
I think it is becoming common in court for defense attorneys to try to get rid of the live person victim impact statements.
Run grandma...Run!!!It's a miracle!!
Snipped some of your post for some space. I think Katie has became friends with the Alexander family. I don't think she is media.
I bet Jodi had a complete breakdown. It must be a scary thought for someone with her issues to finally realize that she will never have children, a husband, go get her nails done, drive down the road, travel, go to weddings, be there when her sister's have children, be by her parent's when they pass, go out to eat at restaurants, play at the beach, sleep in late on Sundays, have a job, gets your hair done, or take photos again. The only thing she will ever do again is pine away in jail about all the things she *could* be doing. The only people she will ever have again is other people that are in jail.
Eventually, all the news trucks will leave. Eventually, HLN will move on to another story, and we will hear less and less about Jodi. Only when another crime happens in that state will Jodi's case be bought up. Only when "snapped" or "deadly women" makes an episode about Jodi will people search for that name b/c they don't remember the story.
So....it is my belief, Jodi flipped out yesterday. If you watch the interview she gave right after the verdict, you could see pieces of her crazy leaking out.
I also think Jodi has studied tons of law books. I bet she knows what to do to help her case.
OMG Ariel Castro's daughter is holding Sneakers on CNN!
I don't blame them for wanting to jump ship. Good ole' Jodi does whatever the hell she wants against their advice and when they want to quit, she writes letters and has her mama write letters to force them to stay. Hmmm....sounds like a typical Jodi-MO. But now she goes and does an interview. Nurmi finally has something concrete to show a judge and say get-me-the-hell-off-this-case. What does Jodi do? Throw a fit big enough to get her in a psych ward. Jodi-MO. Nurmi should be happy she didn't have a knife around. Nobody leaves Jodi.
Hold the fuck up. Am I the only one who thought Donovan was a woman this whole time?! Or is it actually a woman? Some people were talking about dicks in relation to them. I'm so confused![]()

From Alexandra on WS
My overactive imagination just got the best of me. I can see it now. Someone got a hold of the stun belt remote and they're secretly passing it from person to person while zapping JA. Security is brought in to figure out who has it....yet they can't find it....all the while JA continues to get zapped. The judge and lawyers start to lose their composure and to avoid being seen they rush into chambers where they're falling over each other with laughter. They really want to get on with business, but it's like giggling school kids in there. Each time they think they're composed enough to re-enter the courtroom, someone snickers and they fall out in laughter again. The judge finally says, @#!$ it! We're going to have to postpone this till next week.....while snickering "surely someone will find the remote by then". :P Sorry, MOO

So sick of women getting abuse, WE ALL NEED TO STAND UP AND FIGHT BACK ( Just like JODI)
There was a bomb threat today and perhaps the Alexander family has received threats as well, they were escorted out of the court house by Deputies
She likes attention, good or bad. Quite frankly I don't think it matters where it comes from where she's concerned. If it's hate then that feeds into her persecution complex and I don't think she knows what love actually is or what it feels like.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio made the decision to move to her to the psych ward, not mental health professionals.
People that work for Sheriff Joe at MCSO do what they're told or they won't have a job.
You're right, she can't do anything to STOP the inevitable but she can try to delay it. She's proven that for almost 5 yrs.
As I said, after being convicted of first degree premeditated felony murder and then giving that interview 20 minutes after her verdict she would have been placed on suicide watch anyway, especially given her suicidal ideations from the time she was 15 or so plus her statements made from the witness stand.
The Sheriff and MSCO knew about her planned interview on Sunday and then allowed Trot Hayden and FOX10 Phoenix into the holding cell area beneath the court house.
So excuse my cynicism of both Sheriff Joe and the Felon but I believe it's warranted.
Willmott may have also known about her interview - at 3:35 the freshly convicted Felon appears t tell her "Jennifer, remember I have that interview" . That could have been the cause of the heated exchange between her and her lawyers that was been rumored.
She and her lawyers had an ex parte meeting with the Judge in her chambers yesterday so while she may not have been in the court room she was most certainly on the 5th floor.
I agree with everything you said.. why Jodi got pampered treatment I don't know... my own conspiracy theory is that Sheriff Arpaio is cozy with Fox News (the "BC Posse" got a lot of their attention) and someone at Fox NY (maybe Greta Van Susteren) got him to allow special access by the local Fox affiliate to JA. There is no way that interview happened without his okay.

Perfect summary. Perfect.
The 'rider list' is funny because it is true.
In Arias' psychopathic head, she is paying chess for control. She knew that the spotlight and applause would be for the jury, Juan Martinez, Detective Flores and Travis Alexander's loved ones. This was their moment of 'glory'. That is what the news would have been focusing on that night. The world's most disgusting media whore wasn't going to allow them to bask in her spotlight, so she wrenched it from them with calculated precision. The conditions she set for the timing of the interview (recorded phone call to Fox on Sunday) highlight her bone chilling cunningness.
Result. The attention on Wednesday evening was back on Arias fully. Next stage, attempt to reduce the impact of the family's court statements with the bonus of annoying them too. She knows that the world wants to see Juan Martinez in court after his victory - instead, the media will be talking about poor little slaughtering Arias. Did she freak out? Is she genuinely ill? Goal achieved. Psychopaths are very goal driven and Arias key aim is control. Doesn't matter that she is only delaying the inevitable. Her time under the warmth of the spotlight is running out and this lizard of a woman needs all the media heat she can get for now.

I'm deleting the info in this post... upon further research I'd say the Twitter and FB pages are JA fan-pages at best.

Hey Everyone, I'm looking for some new friends... Jodi only wants to know me when the jury can see her. The other glasses in jail make fun of me because my lenses are fake.
