I think Stabby got pissy when Sheriff Joe had her planted in the psych ward on suicide watch. So, to get back at him and the world she acted a fool so they would drug her. She knew she would show up to court drugged up and that court would get cancelled because of it. So she stuck it to Sheriff Joe, the Alexander family, her attorneys and anyone who is against her. Am sure she is finding it all very amusing that she managed to steal the attention from the Alexander family on the day they finally get justice.

A jail psych unit is much more restrictive than suicide watch. Plus all the people working there aint gonna put up with her...they are gonna be in her face...making her uncomfortable. Nothing changes...except she has a short reprieve...she will still be sentenced and the state wont allow her to kill herself or hurt staff or other prisoners cause she cant control her rage be it internal or externally directed. They will be up in her grill, trust me. She will have the same rules there as in jail...Nancy grace thinks she will have a private room with a tv. NOT. Jail units follow the same rules and procedures as the jail In fact, it is a jail but with a psych unit.

as cold as this might sound I say "Fuck a bunch of Jodi Arias's lies/manipulations and fuck her". She's been threatening to off herself for 15 years or more. Do you really think she doesn't love, just love, all of this attention?

You are trying way to hard to try to tie her actions to any type of logic. People who have the issues She does are not logical. They do not think or act in a logical manner. They are unable to feel real emotion other than rage either at themselves or at the world. The project what they wish they could feel onto others and take the rage out on them. She is a narcissist and she loves attention be it positive or negative. This in my opinion was solely orchestrated to rob the Alexander family of their joy on finally receiving justice for Travis. That is the reason she told the reporter that if convicted of 1st degree murder come see me immediately and if anything else wait till after sentencing. She will not tolerate the Alexander's getting attention while she doesn't and had she been convicted of a lesser crime she wouldn't talk until after the verdict so not to sabotage getting as small a sentence as possible. There is nothing this woman does that is not planned. No, her plans do not make sense to most of us because we are logical, rational thinking human beings. Jodi does not have that capability in her world she is the center of the universe. Everything is about her and what she wants and if anyone gets in the way of that she deals with them in any way possible.

In the conclusion, on the last page, it mentions that they want the victim impact statements so that objections can be raised in advance. You know the Defense would be trying to only allow certain clips of the videotapes to be played. That's awful if the family isn't allowed to say all they want to say. It's also awful, if they are allowed to give their statements live in court and the defense is objecting throughout their statement. Ugh.

I wonder if that motion is Jodi's response to being told that if she acted up they'd make her view the rest of her trial through a video screen.

We don't know what those "raised voices" were right after the conviction. I don't think she can fire her attorneys at this stage, probably she told them to get out of her sight. Disco Donna must be her new BFF, only because her advice hasn't been tested yet.

For those of us who were disappointed that she wasn't in shackles, don't forget she still had the stun belt on.

As Metis said, most likely they are putting her on medication and that will take several days to reach full effect.

I just watched Dr. Drew and heard that Jodi's mom was refused visitation at the jail psych unit. There's only one reason the staff would refuse the visit and that is that Jodi is in restraints or locked seclusion. Many of you wanted Jodi to have a complete meltdown in court...to flip her shit...to go berzzerk, I think she did. Im guessing (and again this is based upon working in forensic psychiatry) she is full of rage that is either self-directed or directed at the staff.
