Oh no, I'm sorry. I talked to Coconut via MDS yesterday right before the verdict. I think I remember him posting something post verdict on this thread. As far as I know he doesn't live in AZ. I do, but am nowhere near the courthouse.
As for the bomb threat, I heard it on HLN this AM, and other MDS'ers had more info on it.

You are assuming the sheriff actually knew about the interview. We don't know that for sure. I will withhold having an opinion until we know the facts. It's obvious you don't care for the sheriff and thats your right.

The voters seem to be very pleased with their sheriff and that's all that really matters.

Faking "incompetence" from a legal standpoint is very difficult. You have to be really, REALLY incompetent before this would become a factor, and Jodi absolutely is not. However, they have to go through the steps of having a professional check her out, just to be sure.

I still have faith that justice will eventually prevail, but at this point, so close to the end of the trial, it almost makes me wanna choke the local reporter who interviewed her yesterday. I wouldn't put it past her to do that just to rob them of that chance!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been thinking the same thing. IMO she is acting impulsively as usual and is attempting to avoid their statements about the real character of Travis and how they feel about her. She is a true coward, and I wouldn't put this past her. Her terms, because after all, she is the victim right? I think she was truly shocked by the verdict and is now playing the victim in a different manner. She is getting all kinds of attention on the Psych ward, and she enjoys the concern about her well-being. She is all about winning, and she is unwilling to relinquish power to the jury and the Alexanders to decide her fate.

Her "defense counsel" should have stopped her from going on camera and doing an interview with the media. I understand that she calls the shots but they should have put their foot down. Unless this was a ploy, and I wouldn't put it past them.

Yes! If Jodi's defense attorneys could not stop Jodi from doing that interview, at least one of them should have been in the room while she talked to Troy Hayden. It just stinks of shady and manipulative!

LOL N. Grace may be loud and obnoxious but she is informed on legal matters. She tried almost 100 cases and didn't lose one... I think a couple have been overturned and retried since but still she knows her facts. I seriously think she suffers from adult ADD... either way her I'm a victim mantra is on my last nerve. I'm sorry the dude was killed but we don't need to hear it multiple times every day. Back to this trial, they already held a hearing for mistrial due to prosecutorial misconduct a couple weeks ago and judge ruled against the defense.

I really liked her show when she focused on missing people. I think that was before tot mom.lol I don't watch tv very much.

Yeah, some lady who was walking by the courthouse after work, saw the news camera's running, following the Arias family. No deputies. I wonder if the Jodi whacks are threatening the Alexander family.
And still...no word from Dr Drew HLN knows exactly what's going on, but Dr Drew, and everyone in that courtroom, was told not to talk to the media. DAMMIT!

Until the jury was out, I wasn't really sure what I wanted her to be convicted of. As long as she was off the streets for good then I was ok. Then for some reason when that Jury went into deliberations I realised I wanted M1. NOTHING else would have been ok or appropriate. I want her to get the DP. I want her stuck in an itty-bitty cell that's smaller than Travis' closet, allll by herself, every day, all day for the rest of her life - as short as that may be. I don't even care if she's not executed for 20+ years, as long as she's 'living' like that!

At this point, HLN is reporting that Jodi is in fact "Sane" , but on suicide watch, because of the interview after the verdict.

Yes I think the judge is making sure a mistrial does not happen. As much as I hate JA's fuckery, it makes sense that the judge wouldn't force things when she's on suicide watch, whether its a legit threat or not.

I'm going to be lynched for this, but I saw this coming. I know everyone was saying she was faking her sadness on that interview last night, but I don't think she was. I think she was genuinely upset. (For herself of course) You saw her chin when the verdict was read...that was real. People with BPD long to be liked...and when people don't like you, it literally feels like the end of the world. If I sat around and thought of all the people who didn't like me because of every impulsive decision (shitty impulsive decisions) I've made, I'd suicide. No joking. I seriously believe that it's not a game this time. I would put money on it that she legitimately wants to die.

I do see how it looks on the outside, but homegirl and I have the same diagnosis. She's in emotional pain for sure. And not saying that I feel bad for her because she did do a heinous thing (actually several of them), I'm just saying that I understand somewhat how she is feeling right now.

She is in a psych ward in a prison, in a cell. So, it's not like she is in a hospital setting, where she is free to go and play bingo and eat in a cafeteria. If anything, she has LESS in this cell than she had in her holding cell.....not even peanut butter or her clothes. She won't have access to any other inmates. She is in an iron-barred fishbowl, right now. They will make sure she is stable, then get on with the process.
