I've been staring at that creature for 4 months now & have discovered that it's taken me to a place I really don't want to be -- if I get in touch with The Real Crazy part of me, here's what I see: The woman has no wrinkles. I don't care how old she is, a normal person starts to get wrinkles after a while. From smiling. From grinning. From laughing. From frowning. From worrying. From stressing. From emotions. The woman doesn't have a wrinkle on her face. Plus her eyes are dead. I think there's a serious flaw in her DNA that's turned her into (for want of a better word) a sort of mutant. Not in the X-Files way; in a way that makes her just a vacuum inside. (See? This is what happens when a person stares at her too long!)

I think she's beyond fucked-up but I do NOT think she's crazy. I think she's cold and calculating and just does not give one fuck. She's doing what she wants to do; as somebody said last night, "That's just Jodi being Jodi," which is just horrific.

I also think that she must've gone seriously off her rocker when the Boston bombing happened. In the middle of her trial! How dare they! Must've seriously pissed her off to have that attention diverted from her.

And finally, I think what little there is inside her is going to be completely erased as soon as the Next New, Big Thing comes along. And it will; it always does. Pretty soon, a more terrible person who did a more terrible thing is going to come on the scene, steal her thunder and she'll pretty much disappear. And I'm betting that's the last thing she wants, but it'll happen and the attention will be focused elsewhere. Fuck you, arias.

Welcome RudeDog. Interesting observations. I have had a few sleepless nights since following this case. I agree she takes us to a dark incomprehensible and scary place. To me she is the embodiment of evil. Again welcome to our group.

My boyfriend and I noticed that the only time out of the entire trial that she showed true emotion was yesterday when she was given her sentence. First time she was crying out of her eyes and not her nose.

Actually, I believe there was one other time. Remember when she found out that the ENTIRE sex tape was coming in, not just the parts with Travis speaking? She seemed genuinely emotional...for herself.

True that. I think that had to be in part with her embarrassment since her family was present.

I noticed in the interview she never once apologized to Travis' family for what she did or has shown remorse for her actions. She absolutely refuses to take the high road and admit what she did was completely fucked up. I still think in her mind she really believes that she is the victim in all of this.

You know, I was wondering the same thing! Usually, the judge will admonish everyone in the court to keep control of their emotions as the verdict is read, and ask the defendant to rise, before the verdict is read. I would have loved to see a bit of "noodle legging" happening, too!

I'm guessing the judge did not want her to fake faint or "noodle leg" which would have been dramatic (stabbisque) and therefore "prejudicial" before sentencing. maybe they'll have her stand for sentencing??

Late start again? Judge Sherry said 1pm yesterday.

^^ This ^^ I felt she would get LWOP... but am now thinking they're gonna DO IT, & sentence her to Death, I think they have big balls.
It's no wonder the 2 jurors came back to the courthouse to be present for the remainder of the trial, our first juror (5) didn't come back (return again), imo, because the media was just too much, & it was all over the news she was there (& in some excerpts of media, didn't show positive she was there). BUT if I had served on that jury, w/ so much time, effort & heart vested, I probably would have wanted to do the same & be there, too. They felt it (imo), that she was guilty & came in support of their fellow jurymen & most likely for the Alexanders. I won't doubt, at least juror 5 & 8, will be back, to see it through. And Kudo's to them for serving.

This makes me cry out loud. For reals :(

The most sickening part of the video for me was when she was talking about not wanting to make eye contact with travis' family because it reminds her of her "abuser"
