I suppose it could still happen... if she was to "come clean" that would be the ultimate mitigator (tell all, where's the gun and all the discarded evidence? how EXACTLY did you kill him? etc)... I highly doubt it will happen.

I would like this for the Alexander family. but as she proved again last nite, she cares about nothing but herself. Spotlight on the Alexanders, she goes on TV to switch it back to HER, it's all about HER.
And, then, what is the truth. she could say until she is blue in the face something is true, how would we know?
I would like to see a book from Juan someday, something like the Helter Skelter by bugliosi. I would read that, although I think Juan's closing was as close as one can get to what actually happened.
I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the back after the verdict, listen to the verbal dispute.

I read a reply to the same question you asked some pages back and the answer was no, at least no one has seen any. I was so looking forward to at least a glimpse of Super Juan and hero Det. Flores and his family (who were all there) when (or after) the verdict was read. Can't wait to see them today, and really can't wait to hear them speak once the trial is finished.

It had to do with "once she stabbed him she was no longer welcome in his house and was essentially trespassing" JM made a sarcastic remark in closing about (paraphrase) "If someone was stabbing ME... they would no longer be welcome in my house)

It's not up to Jodi anymore, it's up to the jury. What she does, where she goes, the clothing she wears what she eats and when bedtime is, isnt her decision. She is NOT free.

The local news in Phx reported that TA's family will not be able to file a wrongful death suit vs arias. The state of AZ requires that parents, spouses or children must file... I am confused now. Anyone know for sure?

I agree. I think if any of the jurors believed JA's story they would have voted for ONLY felony 1 (or anything else besides premed, premed/felony). I think the jurors that found both agreed with JM about her being unwelcome after the first stab.

ETA: Dollface, she is manipulating, lying. Hoping JM uses those words against her in penalty phase. She's trying reverse psychology. I think :)

I would assume that Travis' siblings are in charge of Travis' estate since their lawyer is filing the suit.

What is wrong with me that I feel like going to that site to gloat just a little bit?

I do the same thing. I don't know why. Maybe it's because they say things that make no sense. I can't understand the depth of their denial, their belief of conspiracies, how they can hear something totally against their own beliefs, and just pretend they didn't hear it. Also, how can they say there's no evidence and she did nothing wrong with stabbing someone 27+ times, slit someone from ear to ear (which they often say someone came in while she was in her "fog" and did that part), and shoot someone in the face. It amazing to me how they justify what she did, and even somehow convince themselves that it wasn't even her that did it. It was the mormon mafia, it was the roommates, it really was the ninja's, and on and on.
So I guess I go there because they're so funny. They make me laugh and put a smile on my face, every single day.

Here's a bitchy one about Katie to brighten your day. As I said earlier, she is well-groomed and not at all 'orange.' What a day yesterday was. Justice finally.

I assume Nurmi will be filing a motion first this this morning to preclude that devastating interview last night. Juan can show the tape to the jury and then go home.

The convicted murderess absolutely deserves the DP. Her message or what she wanted to say to the Alexanders was so low. No remorse, even fake remorse. Guess she can't fake remorse if she doesn't have it in her to feel such an emotion. Guess she's still "ashamed" of what she did, not sorry for what she did. Please, please, please give her the needle.

On another note, I felt sorry for Grandma in court. Then I see that she didn't need her wheelchair when they all went to visit the murderess yesterday. What's that all about? What's wrong with that family? Never expected Grandma to stoop so low.

The Alexanders and all Travis' friends can now have peace of mind that she is being held accountable for her actions. We need to continue to pray for them as this is a very long journey. They'll never see Travis again. Ever. I have thought about my father every day since he died years ago.

Hope this next phase of the trial is short and as just as the verdict. DP, nothing less.
