Even with a guilty verdict, the Alexander family demonstrates such tact and class.

My Father was put in a Catholic orphanage at the age of 4 and was severely abused by the Nuns there for 11 years.

His Mother died and he was loaded onto a train with his 2yr old sister and told he was going to the seaside. Instead he arrived at a place called Smyllum Orphanage in Lanark, Scotland, run by The Sisters of Mercy. Sisters of 'NO' Mercy, as he liked to call them! He was separated from his sister and put in a dormitory with 200 other boys. He wet the bed that night. The nuns dragged him from his wet bed, filled a bathtub full of cold water, and held his head under the water, as punishment! 11 years of that!

I have no doubt this terrible experience put him in an early grave! On the day I found him dead, jammed between the toilet and the bathtub in his home, he was involved in a court case against the Catholic Church, to hold them responsible for the terrible abuse they inflicted upon these children. Seven days later, he was due to appear in The Scottish Parliament for 'In Care Abuse Survivors' case to be heard. I went in his place, holding a picture of him at age 4, and his sister at age 2 (who also died suddenly and young), only to be told he would no longer be considered for compensation because he was deceased, and that they would only consider cases that happened after 1960!

I know it's not the same but they killed him, and like many, many others, I will never have justice!

I'm probably sharing too much, but I'm so emotional!

I'm grateful to this Jury and the system for doing all it could do for the Alexander family! It must feel good and terribly empty at the same time! It will never bring Travis back!
Massive hugs to you hun. I'm so sorry for your dad :( my mum told the nuns to piss off when they came to her door in glasgow to ask her if they could put me in their convent school ( i was 18 months old).
This case has been very emotional and struck a chord with so many

I can honestly say I am relieved the judge gave the defense EVERY opportunity in order to prevent an overturn on appeal. I asked an attorney on the east coast who does criminal work, he told me there is no way they are going to get an overturning of the verdict due to prosecutorial misconduct.

So the JAII site said that there was no evidence to back up the murder 1 conviction. They can't see where most of what she testified to had absolutely no supporting evidence and expected people to take her word and from a confessed liar and then got caught lying on the stand. They really are so delusional.. hahaha!!

Juan Martinez's style and tactics turned out to be exactly what was was needed to offset the avalanche of lies and deception from JA and the DT.

Wow... I never thought I would cry so much over someone I don't even know. I am beyond happy that she has been charged. They keep showing the families reaction. As soon as they passed Deanna, I lost it. I'm happy no matter what now. Death or not. I just want her to be behind bars for the rest of her life.

Damn, I would have liked to have seen that! Can she fire them even before the penalty phase is finished? I would put nothing past her.

Me neither. I decided she was guilty when I heard that he had went and bought her cinnabons and put them on top of her car and a gift certificate. It showed he had the heart of a person who truly wanted to give.

Beth Karas just said that if Jodi is given the DP, she will likely go to Death Row that very same day.

Since she is now convicted, does this mean she won't get to dress in civilian clothes? Does she wear stripes starting tomorrow???

Didn't anonymous target them yesterday (I think it was yesterday??) -along with the fake Twitters. They might've been intentionally bombarded after that so they were down for the verdict. 'cos think about it guys, they are NOT gonna give you a window to any real disappointment they might be feeling (&I'll state again, I don't believe most on JAII are even real, those that are AND support Jodi are but a handful amongst a big group of troll profiles). What they would do though, if the site was up, is plaster a massive nasty message & do it as offensively as possible. So those of you who have been upset by the Twitters etc, DON'T VISIT, DON'T LOOK because if it comes back up it aint gonna be pretty.

Just to be clear, because all those fucktards from the JAII site come here,

I don't want Stabby to get the death penalty, I don't believe in it, at all.

I'm sad that no verdict can bring Travis back but ecstatic that Stabby will be off the streets because I don't think there's much doubt that she is a massive danger to society at large but especially to the family and all of Travis' friends. Say stabby had been acquitted I would have been so fearful for their safety, now they don't have to worry.

All the lies from Arias and her defence team didn't work

All the lies from Samuels didn't work

All the lies from Laviolette didn't work

I said earlier that there was no way I ever thought a jury could put stabby back on the streets, a women capable of slashing a persons throat. I knew or believed there was no way anyone could ever forget or forgive that.

If she showed an ounce of fucking remorse once in her miserable life I'm sure many people would feel differently, but she doesn't because she doesn't feel bad, she's so damn proud of it, and that what makes me hate her so much.

One other thought, I have no doubt that this sick fucking bitch will give hell to the family for the next god knows how many years, they'll be appeals, they'll be motions, more accusations, more bullshit, but stabby is not going anywhere other than jail, ever.
