Jail until the Judge pronounces the sentence. Then tranferred to DOC custody and moved to a prsion, usually that takes anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks.

I won't throw tomatoes, but I don't feel any empathy for Jodi. Mainly because, until the very end, she had every opportunity to set the record straight, and set her soul right. And she didn't. She could have plead guilty to Murder 1, and she probably would have been spared the DP. Instead, she chose to drag Travis, his family, friends, the public, the judicial system, her own family......straight through town square's mud puddle. People make horrible mistakes, every single day......showing some shame or sorrow or regret for that mistake goes a long way in people being able to empathize and forgive. She has spent years trying to pin the blame on everyone else beside herself. Napoleon would be on death row, if she could have made it happen. She is just that cunning and evil.

SHE is the one who came up with her defense she is the one who continued to slaughter Travis even after she murdered him. She deserves this. Thank you to the jurors for getting it right.

Don't dis the Coconut..he was playing devil's advocate..After the CA trial I was scared to get my hopes up for what I knew the verdict should be. Thankfully we had jurors that were as like minded as most of us in here and they saw through the bullshit.

OMG - it can all be brought in now in the next phase. The showing of handstands, the tossing of her hair, her dad's interview.

I don't really feel sorry for her either. Yes, she clearly has some personality disorders, but she certainly knew right from wrong. She had numerous relationships and break-ups prior to Travis and every other time, she managed to move on, to get on with her life. Hell, she and Travis dated for 5 months; she and Darryl were together 4 YEARS, and they lived together and discussed marriage at one point. Yet, Jodi was able to walk away from Darryl with no problem at all. She and Travis were not married, they were FWB, he owed her nothing and promised her nothing. It was simply all about her and what Jodi thought other people -- particularly men -- owed her. She used each guy until she used them up, or until she could upgrade to a better opportunity.

No sympathy for Jodi at all. She knew what she did was wrong, she took perverse pleasure in punishing him, then she lied and dragged him through the mud. She earned Murder 1.

I don't feel sorry for her, personally. I feel sorry for a wasted life. Despite her tumultuous start at life, she had a lot going for her...decent good looks, reasonable intelligence, talents in a couple of areas that she could have honed, professions she probably could have been successful at. Sadly, she chose another road, and it was her undoing. Even in the end, had she shown some humility, some true remorse, things might have turned out differently, a lesser verdict rendered...But in the end her hubris and arrogance..."No jury will ever convict me..." did her in.

I've watched it about 3 times. It just gets better and better with each watch.

I don't think you can't fake a quivering chin and that chin was going nuts as each juror was asked individually.

Right? I was noticing that the 3rd time I watched. You know that when she gets back to her cell she's going to cry for hours.

HLN showed the Alexander family and friends while verdict was being read. Gut wrenching. I saw Deanna, Chris and Skye Hughes as well as lots of family all of who were sobbing.

Now I'm crying my eyes out after listening to Dave Hall talk about the sense of vindication he feels for his friend and his family! It will never, ever bring Travis back, but I can only imagine how that exoneration must feel! Some people, families and friends will never get to feel that! I am one of them!

My Father was put in a Catholic orphanage at the age of 4 and was severely abused by the Nuns there for 11 years.

His Mother died and he was loaded onto a train with his 2yr old sister and told he was going to the seaside. Instead he arrived at a place called Smyllum Orphanage in Lanark, Scotland, run by The Sisters of Mercy. Sisters of 'NO' Mercy, as he liked to call them! He was separated from his sister and put in a dormitory with 200 other boys. He wet the bed that night. The nuns dragged him from his wet bed, filled a bathtub full of cold water, and held his head under the water, as punishment! 11 years of that!

I have no doubt this terrible experience put him in an early grave! On the day I found him dead, jammed between the toilet and the bathtub in his home, he was involved in a court case against the Catholic Church, to hold them responsible for the terrible abuse they inflicted upon these children. Seven days later, he was due to appear in The Scottish Parliament for 'In Care Abuse Survivors' case to be heard. I went in his place, holding a picture of him at age 4, and his sister at age 2 (who also died suddenly and young), only to be told he would no longer be considered for compensation because he was deceased, and that they would only consider cases that happened after 1960!

I know it's not the same but they killed him, and like many, many others, I will never have justice!

I'm probably sharing too much, but I'm so emotional!

I'm grateful to this Jury and the system for doing all it could do for the Alexander family! It must feel good and terribly empty at the same time! It will never bring Travis back!

She broke down finally when she heard premeditated for 5 and premeditated and felony for 7 of them. She knew in heart she was a liar and she committed a murder at that point. Now, she is going to beg her ass off for her life. I bet she stops the tweets now!!!! In fact, I wonder if those tweets can be used against her in the penalty phase.

If she had any guts, she should ask for the execution immediately. I'd like to see one of these people stand up in the penalty phase, receive DP and ask for immediate execution. Haven't seen that ever. Closest was Gary Gilmore back in the late 70's when he told the ACLU to butt out of his business as they tried to stop his execution.

No, the aggravation, i.e. penalty phase, come first. Both sides will be giving opening statements, presenting testimony, giving closings. After that comes mitigation. The penalty phase begins tomorrow at 9am AZ time.
