Cannot quote be side I am using my phone. I thought once convicted a person could not make money off of the crime that the committed. I didn't think it included all income. Wouldn't the family have to file a civil suit to be able to get any money she makes?

I find it redic that they have reached a verdict but won't announce it. Is that common?

It's mostly to give the families time to get to the courthouse. But, I suspect it's partially to give the media time to set-up, so there isn't some stampede.


I think, if it's M1, Jodi will jump to her feet and yell out; perhaps NO!, perhaps BULLSHIT!. She seems fond of that word. I too hope they get to employ the stun belt at least once.

I really can't imagine Jodi will sit stonefaced, she has been smirky and bitchy, eye-rolling etc., the whole trial; muttering under her breath and glaring daggers at the family and Martinez. I think, in her demented little mind, she believes she was going to flirt or scam her way out of this, so an M1 verdict will hit her like a ton of bricks. I think, she won't be able to help having a reaction.

I don't post too often, but I have read every single post on this thread and I want to thank you all for sharing your thoughts, feelings, experiences and opinions..some brilliant and some not so much..lol Hopefully after the verdicts is read we will continue to share these things during the mitigation and penalty phases...God Bless You All

Only family and media allowed in courtroom for verdict. He will stay on 5th floor of courthouse in case anything else develops.

Saying a prayer and lighting a candle for Justice for Travis, his family and friends, and all of us that didn't get the chance to know him but love him like we did...Geesh, I have a lump in my throat and am ready to bawl like a baby already!!! I'm going to freakin lose it when they show his family's reaction.

On a side note, WHY did I quit smoking the day before this trial started? I would get a little Stabby for one right now! Ugh!

OMFG, if they don't convict M1, I swear I will enter a foggy alternate reality...

Beth Karas, the only one we can trust, said she had it confirmed by the court today that the jury asked for not one item the entire deliberation.
