I'm right there, at the foot of the Altar, so to speak and you can easily guess what I'm prayin' for. Perhaps tomorrow will be the day. Maybe the Jury's jovial comments to each other is a sign that they are not burdened with indecision or conflict. I suspect that they are being very thorough in going through the testimony and the exhibits that were placed into evidence.

If something happens tomorrow, I'll let you know in a hurry. I'll phone Faq and he can post it. If there was anything captivating on TV, you can bet the reporters were just making it up. Today was a very dull day.

Spent the day on the fifth floor of the Courthouse with the Jury watch crowd. Nothing of note happened. The crowd dwindled to twenty people around 3:30. Jurors filed out to the elevator shortly after 4:30. Just before the elevator doors closed, I heard them calling to one another by name, (I don't remember what that was) and joking. They appeared to be in a jovial mood. I'll try again tomorrow, but that will probably be it.

Some interesting studies in the regular court watchers, you can call them the regulars. They don't show anymore insight than the good people on this blog. More about that at another time.

Yep. It's so hard to separate everything we've seen from what's been admitted into court, all the prejudicial stuff that (in my opinion) so clearly works against Jodi and for Travis. I can't imagine what it would be like if a juror/jurors returned an M2 verdict, then rejoins the rest of the world only to see all of these incriminating, sickening things that we've been seeing. Talk about a sick feeling.

Want you to know that none of the TV Reporters were around when those elevator doors closed and I heard the joking among at least some of the jurors. Reporters were downstairs outside the main doors doing their set-ups for their evening programs, (I hate to call them 'shows.' -- Just another little idiosyncrasy of mine.)

Of all the characters involved in this trial, imo, Deanna is the most genuine and down to earth of the lot. She has some interesting insights on Travis, and told the cookie-baking story. In the interview, she mentions that if Jodi had killed one of Travis' friends, he would have wanted her to get the death penalty.

We all know Jodi testified she always gets the same drink at Starbucks, right? A Strawberry Frapaccino. Well if you can imagine Jodi LIED about that!!! In her testimony she reviewed the night her and Travis went to Starbucks for a drink, Book of Mormon chat and a BJ........she testified TA had a Chai Tea and she had a (get ready for this) an Iced Latte!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much for the Strawberry Frappe scenario!!

Catching up from last night as I fell asleep before the jurors left for the day (due to being another person living on that drizzly little island ;)) and saw Deanna's interview.
She is a true lady, kind and compassionate. She doesn't sound angry or bitter which she is more than entitled to be. I agree with you Sneakers, I have a bit of a girl crush on her, she's great.

I had a predicition that perhaps today would be the day and at 10:30am az time, which i would probably change to after lunch. Talking heads on HLN seemed to think it may be friday.

A judge can't tell them what to consider in deliberations past the written instruction of ONLY (not "all") evidence and testimony, not speculate.
ALL was never said. They 'consider' as they hear it, they don't need to rehash it ALL in their minds because of that. i.e. I don't believe Samuals, therefore they wouldnt need to reconsider him and so on. Asking questions AZ does in large part because they found it shortens deliberations not lengthens them. Hundreds of questions they had answered when they entered deliberations from the first minute.

I saw, and someone can slap me silly , on After Dark, the judge from the Anna Nicole case say that the judge, the prosecution, and DT can go in and tell the jury to hurry up via some weird mandate? I was a little sleepy the time so I didn't record or remember what the mandate was called. He also said that Juan didn't have balls because he didn't go in to the jury room with the DT and cut a deal right now. OMG! I mean I am going crazy waiting but serious it has been 13hours. HLN says 3 days = SO not the same.

Anyone else think they are going to cause mayhem with the Zimmerman case they are already peddling? I mean the stupid "debates" preach shite because the lawyers/ppl only have PART of the facts!

Molly Mormon had coffee?!?! It was a good catch. When the juror said she didn't lie because half the year He gets a cold drink (the warm part of the year) and the other hald a hot drink?! Iced latte and Strawberry Frap are both cold right?!? So he actually proved she lied!

I will blame the idiotic lone juror that caused a mistrial. I don't think they will come back with a 2nd degree conviction. It's either murder 1 or hung jury.
