There has to be. Why else would it take this long?

I do not know how those autopsy photos don't close the deal for that jury. They left me breathless. No one stabs someone in the back so many times for self defense. And I don't get how premeditation could be missed. UGhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Going crazy that deliberation has gone on so long.

When I first saw the autopsy photos I burst into tears. I was like sobbing and had to leave the room. It was just so horrible to see him like that. Especially his face. Didn't even look like Travis.

Like I said, I had my mind made up after seeing the autopsy photos and then seeing that she was uninjured. The proportion was so onesided. But, I also lurked here for quite awhile and included that in MY own personal verdict. I really thought they would be done by now. But nothing can surprise me after that crazy ass defense she put on, so all I can do is cross my fingers, pray for Travis' family, and well, not worry. I don't see how it would be possible to get this wrong. I just don't, but stranger things have happened.

I worked in a hospital E.R. when the OJ verdict came in and you could hear shouting throughout the whole first floor!!

And, one look at the body (with all that dark marbling) lets us know that there were all sorts of liquid and gases seeping out. We all know what funky smells that bacteria can produce in a living body (infections, gangrene, pus, intestinal gas, poo poo, etc.), so imagine what is happening to a decaying body after a few days.

Thats one of the biggest things for me. The stab wounds in the back. If someone attacked me, Id do whatever I had to do to save myself and GTFO. If that persons back was to me for even a second I would run my ass out and AWAY! AND CALL THE COPS! Total bullshit.

I am in agreement with everyone saying how its been a long trial, lots of testimony to go over, these few hours arent really anything to worry about it. But my lack of patience is KILLLLLLLLING me. I am the most impatient person. Too bad we all cant be together at some bar, watching the trial, drinking a few and bs'ing about all this! lol

OT (im sorry, please skip if you arent Mochachino and please dont yell at me) Your avatar makes me smile every time I see it! Doxies are the BEST ever. I had one and she was the most amazing animal I had ever known!

That's nothing compared to all the other things I've experienced since then, but thank you :o) I think some people have a better sense of smell. I'm sure the very last thing his roommates thought was that Travis was dead in his bedroom. I'd imagine they got used to it to a certain extent, But yeah, as soon as that bedroom door opened, it must have been horrible.
    :o)

Oh god, me TOO. Reminds me of the CSI episode when the guy sneaks peanut butter (ha ironic) in some other jurors food because he heard he was allergic and he wanted to get him sick so they could end the deliberations. LOL (something along those lines....it was ridiculous but I still loved it)

A lot of people are wearing blue at the courthouse today, including Jinkasoros and Beth Karas. I think it's a tribute to Travis (same colour as the ribbon).

Yes! I hadn't realized how awful things were in his room and house until the photos and from reading Flores' report. Hats off to Flores and Dr. Horne and all who do the kind of work not all of us can do. I know I couldn't stomach it. They deserve so much more recognition than they get. Heros.

    good story lorizfree.

anyone else ever see a dead body?????? (funeral homes dont count). i did. it was my elderly neighbor in the upstairs apartment. hadn't seen her in a few days, so we went up to check on her. found her between two beds half dressed. apparently she was getting dressed and died. it wasn't smelly or anything. she was really skinny so there wasn't much to decompose i guess.

Out, damned spot! out, I say! .... Here?s the smell of the blood still: all the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand!

It's HLN, they are just making crap up.

I've mentioned before. I was on a jury for 7 days last summer, with many charges, the highest being attempted murder.

We were shuttled in and out of the jury box numerous time each day, every day and we had no reporters, but we had family members of both the defendant and the victim watching our every move every time this happened.

Every juror's reaction was different to being watched. Some didn't care and just looked around normally, others went out of their way to not look at anybody, some looked straight down at the ground, some stared back at the family members.

Their reactions could not be interpreted to mean anything other than it was just the way the dealt with the attention.

HLN seems to want to create as much drama out of this as they can. to keep people watching their channel. SO GLAD to have MDS to set a lot of the story straight!

Sorry to go back in time but the DT kept asking why Travis would continue seeing and sleeping with JA if he wanted to get rid of her. Didn't she owe him money? Poor guy was probably just trying to appease her in hopes of getting most of it back. Also, about being afraid, turns our he was right no?

Does HLN have to blast that Breaking News tone every 5 minutes? I had to lower the TV. Almost quitting time.

Do you mean like cheering??? I remember jaw dropping silence. Utter incredulousness. But in some circles, it was cheering.

I think it was honestly just as simple as he made a reallllllly bad decision by continuing to sleep with her. I believe he clearly enjoyed sex with her, she obviously was up for anything. I think it was a case of "ugh this chicks is nuts, but I like banging her" Sorry to be so crude but hell, we are all human. It doesnt make him a bad person, it was just an awful decision to continue anything with her. Unfortunately, it was too late in this case. She wound up truly being the worst thing that ever happened to him.

I would like to share that Jinosaurus' blue dress is really fabulous!

Back to Breaking News that one juror got a Sprite instead of a Diet Coke!

No I have not. I think it's weird that sometimes the body smells and other times it doesn't. I know water speeds up decomposition-I wonder if Jodi knew that too and that's why she left him in the shower.

Yes they do because their goal is to be as annoying as possible. They had me thinking the jury reached a verdict a couple times now-but it was a false alarm. For that I will hate on them.

I have noticed Beth likes to wear blue often as she has very startling blue eyes. At least that is what I have witnessed in person. She was wearing light blue yesterday as well. I have tried to boycott HLN so those observations are over the years including during the CA trial and a couple times I have watched the channel this trial.

Not to bring it up as it is kind of OT but did anyone read yesterday that Melvin Perry said that he was shocked with the verdict in that trial and thought that the prosecution had enough evidence to convict of M1? He went on further to say that the DT were clearly not the better attorneys. What does that say when the judge even thought you got it wrong?
